    Abstract: One innovative aspect of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in a method for wireless communication. The method includes determining a configuration of reference signal (RS) resources to be used by a user-equipment (UE) to perform beam measurements, transmitting, to the UE, an indication of the configuration of the RS resources, and receiving, from the UE, a report indicating a plurality of RS resource indicators based on the beam measurements, each of the RS resource indicators being associated with one of the RS resources. In some aspects, the BS selects a subset of the RS resources based on the report from the UE, transmits, to the UE, an indication to provide channel measurement information for the subset of the RS resources, and receives a report including the channel measurement information from the UE. The BS may also perform joint precoding of signals for transmission via the RS resources based on the channel measurement information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish communications between the UE and a serving cell. The serving cell may be different than each non-serving cell of a set of non-serving cells for the UE. The UE may use machine learning models to determine outputs associated with mobility measurement reporting for the UE. The outputs may indicate whether to perform measurements associated with the set of non-serving cells, whether to report the measurements associated with the set of non-serving cells, one or more non-serving cells within the set of non-serving cells for performing or reporting the measurements, or one or more reference signals of the one or more non-serving cells for performing the measurements, or any combination thereof. The UE may perform the mobility measurement reporting based on the outputs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration to perform cooperative radar sensing. The configuration may indicate resources for the first UE to use to communicate radar measurement reports. The UE may receive, from another UE on the identified resources, a radar measurement report that includes values for one or more radar measurement parameters for a first radar target and a time stamp associated with the values. The UE may identify a second set of values for the radar measurement parameters (e.g., its own measurements, or measurements received from a third UE in another radar measurement reports). The UE may generate a combined set of values for the radar measurement parameters for each time stamp by combining the first set of values and the second set of values.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communications system may support tone reservation techniques in sidelink communications. A first user equipment (UE) may identify one or more subcarriers of a plurality of subcarriers, the one or more subcarriers associated with a tone reservation signal for sidelink. The first UE may select one or more symbols for transmitting the tone reservation signal on the one or more subcarriers. The first UE may transmit, to a second UE, sidelink signaling over the plurality of subcarriers, wherein the sidelink signaling includes the tone reservation signal over the one or more subcarriers during the one or more symbols. The second UE may receive the sidelink signaling and identify the tone reservation signal during the one or more symbols associated with the one or more subcarriers. The second UE may decode the sidelink signaling based on identifying the tone reservation signal.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Repetitions of a reference signal may be transmitted by a first device. In some examples, the repetitions may be quasi-colocated with one another, share an antenna port, or both. The repetitions of the reference signal may arrive at a reconfigurable surface. The reconfigurable surface may apply a modulation sequence to the repetitions of the reference signal and output modulated repetitions of the reference signal in a direction based on a reflective state of the reconfigurable surface. A signal including the modulated repetitions of the reference signal may be received by a second device and combined with the modulation sequence used by the reconfigurable surface to obtain a combined signal. The combined signal may be used to determine, for the reconfigurable surface, information about a channel between the first device and the second device.
