    Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication, and in particular, carrier-phase based positioning. In an aspect, a position estimation entity may obtain a first differential measurement based on measurement of a first set of positioning reference signal (PRS) resources by a first node and measurement of a second set of PRS resources by a second node, wherein the first set of PRS resources are phase-coherent with the second set of PRS resources. The position estimation entity may obtain a second differential measurement based on measurement of a third set of PRS resources by the first node and measurement of a fourth set of PRS resources by the second node, wherein the third set of PRS resources are phase-coherent with the fourth set of PRS resources. The position estimation entity may determine a positioning estimate of a target node based on the first differential measurement and the second differential measurement.

    Abstract: A transmitter may be configured to determine a coding rate at which to encode data packets based on a quantity of encoded packets used by a receiver for recovery of one data packet. The transmitter may be further configured to transmit a set of encoded packets generated at the coding rate to the receiver. The receiver may be configured to receive, from the transmitter, encoded packets carrying a set of data packets encoded at a coding rate. The receiver may be further configured to transmit, to the transmitter, feedback indicating a quantity of a set of the encoded packets used for recovery of one data packet of the set of data packets. The receiver may be further configured to receive, from the transmitter, other encoded packets carrying another set of data packets encoded at another coding rate.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to indicating antenna configuration information and neural network information are disclosed. Neural network information may be selected for an encoder side based on an antenna configuration of a first device housing the encoder. This information may be transmitted with the antenna configuration information to a second device, which may jointly train the neural network with the first device. The first device may further transmit one or more weights after the training, which are stored with the antenna configuration information at the second device as well. When a third device with similar antenna configuration as the first device establishes communication with the second device, the second device may transmit neural network information, as well as weights, to the third device. The third device may use this information, instead of default information, to speed up neural network initialization and training.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a position determination entity (PDE) receives a request to schedule an on-demand PRS positioning session of a UE at a future time, wherein the request is configured to request a first set of parameters for the scheduled on-demand PRS positioning session, with an availability of one or more parameters of the first set of parameters at the future time being indeterminable when the request is received. PDE determines the availability of the one or more parameters at the future time. PDE determines a PRS configuration for the scheduled on-demand PRS positioning session in advance of the future time.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support positioning reference signal (PRS)-assisted beam management. In particular, various aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a network entity to select a beam of a plurality of beams for communications between a base station and a user equipment (UE) based on line-of-sight (LOS) path detection results. In some implementations, the LOS path detection results may include an indication as to whether a PRS includes an LOS path signal and/or an NLOS, and/or a signal strength of the LOS path signal, as well as other information that a network entity (e.g., a UE or a base station) may use in a beam management procedure (e.g., to select a beam). Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first UE may transmit a sidelink request to a second UE. The sidelink request may indicate a set or a segment of the data resources. A second UE may transmit a positive sidelink response indicating that the set or the segment of resources is available for reservation, or may refrain from transmitting a positive sidelink response if the set or the segment of the data resources is unavailable for reservation. A third UE may transmit a negative sidelink response indicating that the set or the segment of the data resources is unavailable for reservation, or may refrain from transmitting a negative sidelink response if the set or the segment of the data resources is available for reservation. If the requested data resources are available, then the first UE may transmit a sidelink confirmation reserving the requested data resources.
