摘要: In a voltage boost circuit for driving a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, a high voltage developed in the voltage boost coil will be discharged into the battery power supply through the boost coil by electrically energizing a discharge switching element provided in parallel to the charging diode. If the overboost compensation overlaps a boost execution period, the end of the boost execution period will await starting of the overboost compensation.

摘要: In a drive unit of a fuel injection device, an electric current is supplied to the fuel injection device by applying a high voltage to the fuel injection device from a high voltage source whose voltage is boosted to a voltage higher than a battery voltage at the time of opening a valve of the fuel injection device. Thereafter, the electric current supplied to the fuel injection device is lowered to a current value at which a valve element cannot be held in a valve open state by stopping the applying of the high voltage from the high voltage source. Thereafter, in a stage where a supply current is switched to a hold current, another high voltage is applied to the fuel injection device from the high voltage source.

摘要: A method of controlling a fuel injection device that can control a small amount of injection is provided. A fuel injection device for use in an internal combustion engine, includes: a valve body that can open and close a fuel passage, a needle that transfers a force with the valve body, and executes valve opening/closing operation, and an electromagnet that includes a coil and a magnetic core provided as a driver for driving the needle, and a cylindrical nozzle holder disposed on an outer periphery of the magnetic core and the needle, in which a current is supplied to the coil to exert a magnetic attractive force between the magnetic core and the needle to open the valve body.

摘要: A control apparatus for a direct injection type engine is provided for reducing an amount of fuel that adheres to and that remains on a crown surface of a piston so as to suppress the increase of Number of particles as well as advancing the first injection as much as possible when plural fuel injections are carried out in one cycle in the direct injection type engine. The first injection timing is set based on a pulse width of at least the first injection among each of injections split plural times, and when the pulse width of the split first injection is short, the injection timing of the first injection is more advanced as compared with a case of a longer pulse width of the split first injection.

摘要: At the time of drop of an injector current of an internal combustion engine controller, the drop is performed quickly while heat generation of a drive circuit is suppressed, and valve closing response speed of the injector is enhanced. The internal combustion engine controller includes a drive circuit which drives an injector current, and a boost circuit which boosts a battery voltage, and includes a peak current path for guiding a boost voltage of the boost circuit to an upstream side of the injector via a boost side switching element and a boost side protection diode, a holding current path for guiding the battery voltage to the upstream side of the injector via a battery side switching element and a battery side protection diode, a ground current path which is connected to a power supply ground from a downstream side of the injector via a downstream side switching element, and a regenerating circuit which allows the boost circuit to regenerate electric energy of the injector from the downstream side of the injector via a current regenerating diode, wherein the regenerating path is provided with a voltage regulating section in series with the current regenerating diode, and the drive circuit controls drive of the switching element.

摘要: A capacitor connected to a microcomputer voltage wiring is downsized. A series regulator on an electronic control unit for automotive includes a battery as an in-vehicle power supply, a relay, an input side capacitor, a series regulator circuit, and an output side capacitor, and is connected to a microcomputer. The series regulator circuit includes an n-channel MOSFET, a gate voltage regulator circuit as an output control circuit of an FET, and a gate voltage holding capacitor. A capacitor GND voltage (gate voltage) is adjusted by the gate voltage regulator circuit to convert an input side capacitor voltage into an output side capacitor voltage, and supply a microcomputer current to the microcomputer.

摘要: The drive device is configured to, during a time interval between an earlier fuel injection (first fuel injection) and a later fuel injection (second fuel injection), supply an electromagnetic coil with an intermediate current at a voltage with a level of not opening the valve. Further, the drive device sets a voltage application for supplying the intermediate current to initiate before a valve closing in the earlier fuel injection and terminate before half a period of time between a first instant when the valve is closed in the earlier fuel injection and a second instant when a supply of a drive current for opening the valve is initiated in the later fuel injection.
