Abstract: The present invention defines signaling required for separating a network entity (NE) responsible for mobility management (MM) and session management (SM), which are main function of a control plane (CP) in a next generation (NextGen) mobile communication system, and presents a basic procedure for providing mobile communication services including the signaling. Therefore, complexity of core equipment responsible for the CP is reduced in order to implement a network slice function and provide various levels of mobility, and an effect of minimizing a signaling load therebetween can be obtain. In addition, it is possible to efficiently manage the resources of a base station (radio access network (RAN)) and a user plane network entity (UP NF).

Abstract: A method for selecting an access network in a terminal of a mobile communication system according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps of: if traffic is generated in the terminal, selecting an access network according to the characteristics of the generated traffic and network selection policy information; and transmitting and receiving the generated traffic via the selected access network. According to the embodiment, the present invention adjusts priorities of accesses given to users and applications in a wireless communication system including heterogenerous networks, thereby reducing processes for reselecting an access network of a user terminal, and reducing the cases of unnecessarily accessing a network having a low priority or requiring high costs for a long time. Therefore, the present invention can enhance user convenience and improve communication efficiency.

A communication method of a terminal in a wireless communication system, which includes a first base station supporting first wireless communication and a second base station supporting second wireless communication, can comprise the steps of: performing data communication though the first wireless communication with the first base station; receiving, from the first or second base station, configuration information for second wireless communication connection; reporting, to the first or second base station, the result of measurement on at least one beamforming reference signal having been received from the second base station, on the basis of the configuration information; and establishing the second wireless communication connection with the second base station on the basis of the measurement result.
