    Abstract: A method for controlling access to wireless communications includes generating an overlay to a portion of an existing wireless network by controlling radio frequency (RF) equipment to establish a defined geographical volume as the overlay; receiving an indication of wireless devices within the volume, the indication including three-dimensional positions of the wireless devices within the boundary; establishing identities for the wireless devices, the identities selected from the group consisting of allowed, unknown, and restricted; generating a private network encompassing at least a portion of the volume; locking and maintaining locked unknown and restricted wireless devices to the processor; and directing allowed wireless devices to access the private network for wireless communications within the volume.

    Abstract: A wireless communications system operating in a coverage area of a wireless network includes a radiofrequency (RF) front end and a base station coupled to the RF front end, the base station receiving signals data from received transmissions from wireless devices; and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium having encoded thereon a program of machine instructions executable by a processor in signal communication with the base station. The processor executes the instructions to receive from the base station, the received signals data, process the received signals data to determine a characteristic of the wireless device, determine, based on the characteristic, whether the wireless device is allowed to continue transmissions in the wireless network, controlling the base station to lock the wireless device to the base station when continued transmissions are not allowed, and redirecting the wireless device to attempt access to the wireless network when continued transmissions are allowed.

    Abstract: A method for managing wireless device communications including establishing active, persistent, and repetitive communications with a wireless device operating in a coverage area of a local wireless network. In an example, the local wireless network is an overlay to a portion of a macro wireless network. The repetitive communications include placing a call to the wireless device, completing a call connection to the wireless device, sending a message to the wireless device, receiving and processing a response to the message from the wireless device, and persistently repeating a call function of the placing a call, completing a connection, sending a response, and receiving and processing the response until a specified termination event. In an example, the termination event is a power off of the wireless device.
