    摘要: The disclosure relates to a measurement configuration method and a measurement report method. The measurement configuration method comprises generating and transmitting a measurement configuration message to a user equipment. The measurement configuration message indicates a cell to be measured by the user equipment and an event for triggering a report of the measurement. The measurement configuration message also indicates whether the event if of a decoupling type or not. The measurement report method in the user equipment comprises receiving the measurement configuration message, and measuring and reporting according to the measurement configuration message. By configuring the message configuration message to indicate the type of the event, the user equipment can differentiate a decoupling case and a normal case, and only reports the measurement as required. There are also provided a base station performing the measurement configuration method and a user equipment performing the measurement configuration method.

    摘要: A wireless device and a method for controlling Discontinuous Reception (DRX) in the wireless device. The wireless device is capable of cellular and Device to Device (D2D) communication. The method comprises: in response to receiving a first uplink cellular communication grant, activating, for a first period of time (t1), a DRX-wake state for a cellular DRX configuration during which DRX-wake state the wireless device is configured to receive a second uplink cellular communication grant, and in response to receiving a first D2D communication grant, activating, for a second period of time (t2), the DRX-wake state for a D2D DRX configuration, wherein the D2D DRX configuration is separate from the cellular DRX configuration, and during which DRX-wake state the wireless device is configured to receive a second D2D communication grant. Thereby the wireless device is capable of controlling DRX using both the cellular DRX configuration and the D2D DRX configuration.

    摘要: A method in a base station of a cellular radio system and a base station using the same are provided. The method comprises: obtaining at least one access control parameter for a device-to-device, D2D, based access; and transmitting a message including said at least one access control parameter to one or more terminal devices. Also provided are a method in a terminal device of a cellular radio system and a terminal device using the same. The method comprises: receiving a message from a base station of the cellular radio system, wherein said message includes at least one access control parameter for a device-to-device, D2D, based access; determining whether the D2D based access is allowed or barred based on the at least one access control parameter; and initiating a D2D based access in response to determining that the D2D based access is allowed.

    摘要: A method of operating a first wireless communication device to perform D2D discovery includes obtaining multiple discovery message detection results, and determining a D2D discovery status of a second wireless communication device based on the multiple discovery message detection results. Using multiple discovery message detection results to determine the D2D discovery status of the second wireless communication device significantly increases the reliability of D2D discovery, thereby increasing the likelihood that a device available for D2D communication will be detected, while reducing the likelihood of false detections.
