    摘要: A dielectric layer 32 variable in dielectric constant in dependence upon the strain is formed on at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of a bar 31 having a circular cross section. Interdigital electrodes are faced to the dielectric layer to thereby form a single capacitor. The interdigital electrodes have a plurality of linear electrodes 34a and 34b inclined at a predetermined inclination angle with respect to a center axis of the bar. Preferably, the dielectric layer is provided with a cylindrical insulator 33 faced thereto with a small gap kept therebetween, and the linear electrodes are formed on the peripheral surface of the cylindrical insulator. The linear electrodes may be formed directly on the surface of the dielectric layer.

A block (318) for preventing strain from being produced is secured to one end of the substrate (119); a weight (329) is secured to the other end. The capacitors (209, 209A) are formed by interdigitally arranging a pair of electrodes being parallel linear electrodes of linear conductors on the substrate.

    摘要: A laminate polyester film to be laminated onto metal plate and molded comprises the first layer made from copoly(ethylene-terephthalate/isophthalate) having a melting point of 205 to 250.degree. C. and a second layer made from a polyester (i) comprising ester units of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component and aliphatic diol components, (ii) containing a titanium compound soluble in the polyester in an amount of 30 to 200 ppm in terms of elemental titanium and (iii) having one or two melting point(s) in the range of 170 to 245.degree. C., and has the maximum peak temperature of loss elastic modulus of higher than 47.degree. C. and 85.degree. C. or lower. This laminate polyester film is suitably used for application such as metal cans for juice and other refreshing drinks that are handled in a cooled state.

    摘要: A base plate 41 of a movable scroll member 4 has, at its outer periphery, a section 44 with no scroll wall, while a scroll wall 22 of a stationary scroll member 2 has a section 24 for connecting to an outer cylindrical shell 22. These sections 44 and 24 make a relative lateral slide movement during an orbital movement of the movable scroll member 4 with respect to the stationary scroll member 2. These sections 44 and 24 have axially faced inner and outer edges 44-1 and 24-1, over which the relative lateral movement occurs. These inner and outer edges 44-1 and 24-1 are bevelled, the bevelling being such that any skewed movement of the movable scroll member with respect to the stationary scroll member does not cause locally increased contact pressure, thereby preventing galling as well as seizing.

    摘要: In a piezoelectric gyroscope system wherein a vibrating body is vibrated in a specific direction by a piezoelectric actuator and is subjected to another vibration in a direction perpendicular to the specific direction due to the Coriolis' force upon being subjected to a rotation of a rotational speed, the perpendicular vibration being detected as an electric signal representative of the rotational speed by a piezoelectric transducer, the vibrating body is made of a circular rod of a piezoelectric material having a plurality of elongated electrodes on the outer surface of the rod, in order to resolve difficulty for mounting piezoelectric transducers onto the vibrating body. A driving signal is applied to predetermined ones of the electrodes to vibrate the rod in a particular diametric direction and an output signal is detected from specific ones of the electrodes according to the vibration due to the Coriolis' force. When an even number of electrodes are provided, those electrodes are formed at equiangularly spaced positions on the outer surface of the rod. When an odd number of electrodes are provided, those electrodes are formed at equiangularly spaced positions within an angular region of (360 angular degrees.times.2/3) on the outer surface of the rod.

    摘要: In a scroll type compressor, a movable scroll is engaged with an immovable scroll so that spaces are formed for taking in a fluid including a lubricating oil mist to be compressed. The movable scroll is revolved around a central axis of the immovable scroll so that, as the spaces are displaced toward a center of the immovable scroll, a volume thereof is reduced to compress the fluid therein. The immovable scroll has a passage through which each of the spaces is communicated with a discharge chamber upon reaching the center, whereby the compressed fluid is successively discharged through the passage into the chamber. An oil-separating plate is disposed in the chamber at a given level lower than the passage, and a reed valve is provided at the passage. A retainer for the reed valve is shaped such that the compressed fluid discharged from the passage through the reed valve is directed to and impinged on an upper surface of the plate, to thereby separate a lubricating oil from fluid, whereby the separated oil is reserved in a lower portion of the chamber defined by the plate, and thus a level of the reserved oil is maintained at the upper surface thereof.
