Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes a cylindrical annular structure disposed around a rotational axis; a carcass portion including a rubber covered cord, at least a portion of the carcass portion being disposed to the outer side of the annular structure in a direction parallel to the rotational axis; and a rubber layer including a tread portion, at least a portion of the rubber layer being disposed to an outer side of the annular structure in a radiation direction with respect to the rotational axis. In such a pneumatic tire, SW/OD≤0.30 is satisfied, where SW is a total tire width and OD is a tire outer diameter.

Abstract: The present technology provides a pneumatic tire provided with a mechanical fastener member for attaching an object to the inner surface of a pneumatic tire, wherein the mechanical fastener member is bonded with high bonding strength to the inner circumferential surface of the tire, and a method of manufacturing the same. The pneumatic tire of the present technology comprises a mechanical fastener member on a tire inner surface, the mechanical fastener member corresponding to a first member of a mechanical fastener separable into two members and being fixed protruding to a tire cavity side. A fixing strength of the mechanical fastener member is from 0.1 to 100 (N/mm2).

Additionally, a minimum value of a wall thickness t of a rubber of the sidewall portion in the region applied with the resin coating is in a range of 0.05 mm≤t≤4.0 mm. Additionally, a thickness of the resin coating is in a range of 20 μm or more and 300 μm or less.

Abstract: The present technology provides a pneumatic tire having a strip-shaped sound-absorbing member bonded on the inner surface of the tire includes a plurality of belt layers, two or more belt cover layers, one or more belt edge cover layers, and a thread rubber layer. The thickness of the tread rubber layer is substantially uniform in the region X where the sound-absorbing member is located so that the difference between the thickness t1 at an end of the sound-absorbing member and the thickness t0 at the position of the tire equator is equal to or less than 0.5 mm. The thickness of the tread rubber layer is smaller in the region Y where the belt edge cover layer is located than in the region X so that the difference between the minimum value t2 of the thickness in the region Y and the thickness t0 ranges from 1.0 to 4.0 mm.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire including the steps of: curing a pneumatic tire including, on at least a part of the inner surface of the tire, a resin layer which is formed of any one of a thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic elastomeric composition obtained by dispersing an elastomer in a thermoplastic resin; disposing a noise absorbing member formed of a porous material on the resin layer; and attaching the noise absorbing member to the resin layer by bonding a locking member formed of a thermoplastic resin to the resin layer through the noise absorbing member by thermal fusion.
