Abstract: A wireless communication device may include a logic configured to select a first antenna as a transmitting antenna and a second antenna as a non-transmitting antenna; and to calculate a short-term antenna metric difference between the transmitting antenna and the non-transmitting antenna, a mid-term antenna metric difference between the transmitting antenna and the non-transmitting antenna, and a long-term antenna metric difference between the transmitting antenna and the non-transmitting antenna. The logic may be further configured to switch the second antenna to the transmitting antenna and the first antenna to the non-transmitting antenna, in response to determining that at least one of the calculated short-term antenna metric difference is greater than a short-term threshold, the calculated mid-term antenna metric difference is greater than a mid-term threshold, or the long-term antenna metric difference is greater than a long-term threshold.

Abstract: A base station device broadcasts a base station identifier. The base station identifier is assigned to the base station device, and is broadcasted in one or more system information messages that are receivable by user devices located within a threshold distance from the base station device. The base station device determines whether the base station identifier is to be altered, and processes the base station identifier to generate an altered base station identifier for the base station device. The base station device performs one or more actions to cause the altered base station identifier to be broadcasted. The altered base station identifier is broadcasted in one or more additional system information messages that are receivable by the user devices.

Abstract: A device may receive signal information associated with a wireless signal or charge information associated with a charge level. The signal information may indicate a signal strength of the wireless signal. The charge information may indicate the charge level of a battery of the device. The device may determine whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies a threshold. The device may configure a parameter or a setting of the device to cause the device to operate according to a long term evolution (LTE) category based on determining whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies the threshold. The LTE category may be different from a default LTE category of the device and may define an uplink/downlink capability specification. The device may attach to a network in association with configuring the parameter or the setting to cause the device to operate according to the LTE category.

Abstract: A Self-Organizing Network (SON) collects data pertaining to a first number of cells of a wireless network. The SON splits the collected data into a second number of groups, and, for each of the second number of groups, repeatedly set a third number of clusters to a different number between a low limit and a high limit. The SON, for each of the settings, clusters the cells into the third number of clusters and trains a deep neural network to perform a regression analysis on the third number of clusters. For each of the second number of groups, the SON also determines an optimum number of clusters based on the regression analyses, re-clusters the cells into the optimum number of clusters; and tunes engineering parameters based on the re-clustering to optimize performance of the wireless network and quality of experience pertaining to the wireless network.

Abstract: A device can receive a system information data from a cell and obtain cell metadata from the system information data, the cell metadata including at least one of: a cell identifier, or a cellular parameter. The device can determine, based on the cell metadata, that the cell is of a particular cell type of multiple cell types, including: a fifth generation long term evolution (LTE) cell type, a fifth generation new radio (NR) sub-6 GHz cell type, and a fifth generation NR millimeter wave cell type. Based on the particular cell type, the device can perform an action, including causing display of an indicator on a display of the device.

The processor may be further configured to detect a 5G wireless signal associated with the provider; determine a signal strength for the detected 5G wireless signal; and generate an indication of the determined signal strength to be displayed in a user interface associated with the fixed wireless access device.

Abstract: A system may collect, from a wireless network, first data pertaining to nodes in the wireless network. Each datum of the first data belongs to one of two or more categories/For each of the nodes, for each of the categories, and for each datum belonging to the category, the system may determine if the datum is outside of a first range of values, and if the datum is inside the first range, the system may calculate a first base network performance health (NPH) score that is a function of the nodes, the categories, the data, and time. The system may also apply first deep learning to a first neural network among a plurality of neural networks to update first coefficients for correlating the first base NPH score to a mean opinion score, for each of the categories.
