    Abstract: A Next Generation network device receives, from a user equipment device (UE), a Service Request for establishing a Multimedia Priority Services (MPS) session. The Next Generation network device determines whether the Service Request includes a MPS fallback request to request network fallback from a Next Generation network to a Fourth Generation (4G) network for the MPS session. The device causes, based on the Service Request including the MPS fallback request, establishment of the MPS session from the UE device via the 4G network by performing one of: a handover procedure from the Next Generation network to the 4G network, or a Radio Resource Control (RRC) redirection procedure from the Next Generation network to the 4G network.

    Abstract: A user equipment may receive thermal mitigation guidelines. The user equipment may generate one or more temperature thresholds based on the thermal mitigation guidelines. The one or more temperature thresholds may define a first temperature zone and a second temperature zone. The user equipment may detect a temperature of the user equipment. The user equipment may identify whether the temperature occurs in the first temperature zone or the second temperature zone. The user equipment may select an action to perform based on whether the temperature occurs in the first temperature zone or the second temperature zone. The user equipment may perform the action to maintain or reduce the temperature of the user equipment.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for Next Generation to Long Term Evolution (LTE) fallback are provided. An exemplary method includes detecting a request to set up a voice call originating from or terminating at a user equipment that is connected or configured to connect to a Next Generation mobile network; transitioning, in response to the request to set up the voice call, the user equipment from having a Next Generation mobile network connection with the Next Generation mobile network to having an LTE network connection with an LTE network, the detecting and the transitioning performed without call setup being performed for the voice call via the Next Generation mobile network; and performing call setup for the voice call via the LTE network connection with the LTE network.

    Abstract: A device may connect to a first wireless network; determine whether the first wireless network provides a particular service for determining a position of the device; select the first wireless network as a primary network if the first wireless network provides the particular service for determining a position of the device, or select the second wireless network as the primary network if the first wireless network does not provide the particular service for determining a position of the device.
