The auxiliary layer extends continuously over the detection elements or contains separate regions which are associated with a detection element. The detection layer has separate detection regions which are contained in a detection element and contain at least one semiconductor component which is sensitive to radiation. The insulating layer has separate insulating regions for electrically insulating the detection regions from a point of contact having electrically conductive connections and pads fitted on the free side. The Dads are electrically connected to connecting points which are routed to the semiconductor components. This sensor arrangement can be used for detecting X-ray radiation and can be manufactured with particular ease.

A method is provided for the fabrication of a photodiode sensitive to blue light. This photodiode has a very flat pn junction (2) in order to achieve a high blue sensitivity. The pn-junction (2) is formed in an n-conducting (100)-oriented silicon monocrystal (1) through implantation of B.sup.+ ions. Subsequently, an upper layer (3) generated during the implantation with relatively low p-doping is eroded through anisotropic etching to extend into a region of a deeper lying layer (4) having a relatively high p.sup.+ -doping. This high p.sup.+ -doping layer is then located to provide high sensitivity of the silicon photodiodes light corresponding to blue in the visual spectrum.

An optoelectronic coupling arrangement for a light waveguide cable (3), at each of whose ends an optoelectronic transmitter and/or receiver structural unit (1, 2) are optically coupled to, permit a signal or data transmission to or from an arbitrarily rotatable electronic system. The light waveguide cable (3) is flexible, but torsionally-stable or not rotated, and connected at its one end with the one optoelectronic transmitter and/or receiver structural element (1). The light waveguide cable (3) is separated at its other end into two axially opposing members which are each fastened in their lateral portions of a pivot bearing (4) and, consequently, are coupled axially rotatable optically and mechanically with each other. The lateral portion of the pivot bearing (4) associated with the end member of the light waveguide cable (3) is rigidly connected with a carrier (6) rotatable about an axis of rotation (5) on which the other optoelectronic transmitter and/or receiver structural unit (2) is fastened. An application for an optoelectronic coupling system according to the invention is in particular computer tomography systems.
