摘要: The invention is directed to an arrangement for monitoring a road condition which determines the coefficient of friction of the road surface on the basis of a signal corresponding to an acceleration of a vehicle detected by an acceleration sensor. The signal is converted into one of at least two predetermined values by conversion means in response to a magnitude of the acceleration every cycle of a predetermined time period. The converted value is summed up by summing means by a predetermined number of consecutive cycles to provide a total value in the last cycle thereof which is stored in memory means. Then, in determination means, one of at least two standard values is selected in response to the condition of increase or decrease of the total value in the present cycle provided by the summing means as compared with the total value in the previous cycle stored in the memory means. And, the total value in the present cycle is compared with the above one of at least two standard values to produce a road condition signal corresponding to a result of comparison which represents the coefficient of friction of the road surface. The present system is applicable to an anti-skid control system for an automotive vehicle.

摘要: The anti-skid control system is provided with wheel velocity sensors only for the driving wheels and is capable of performing the anti-skid control through its accurate estimation of the vehicle speed and proper compensatory control even when sharp braking occurs immediately upon the release of the accelerator after the occurrence of acceleration slip. The anti-skid control system is capable of starting the anti-skid control with certainty even when the braking operation is not detected because of a failure in the operation of the brake switch. The system is provided with a fluid pressure generating device, a fluid pressure controlling device, a brake operation detecting device, an acceleration detecting device, a wheel velocity detecting device, a braking force controlling device, a first estimated vehicle speed setting device and a second estimated vehicle speed setting device.

摘要: An antiskid device according to this invention controls the hydraulic pressure to vehicle brakes based on the rotational speed of the wheel having the smallest coefficient of friction until a standard vehicle velocity becomes less than a predetermined velocity. Further, the antiskid device controls the hydraulic pressure to the brakes based on the speed of each wheel if the standard vehicle velocity becomes less than the predetermined velocity. Accordingly, directional stabilization of the vehicle is maintained when the vehicle runs at high speed, and at low speed, the braking range for stopping the vehicle is mainimized by utilizing the braking force more efficiently.

摘要: A system for controlling the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic control circuit associated with an automatic, variable speed transmission is provided. The hydraulic control circuit comprises a plurality of hydraulic pressure control valves, a plurality of flow path switching means and a plurality of solenoid valves, and operates to control the engagement and disengagement of the clutches and brakes disposed within the transmission. The energization of the solenoid valves of the hydraulic control circuit is controlled by an electronic system, which comprises a large scale integrated semiconductor logic unit, a semiconductor read-only memory, a semiconductor read-write memory and as required, input/output ports.A plurality of signals are applied to the electronic system, including a signal indicative of shift lever position supplied by shift lever detecting means, a signal indicative of the current vehicle speed supplied by vehicle speed signal generating means and a signal indicative of the throttle opening supplied by throttle opening detecting means. In response to these signals and in accordance with the program data and constants data, the electronic system determines a new gear ratio to be established. If the shift mode, defined by a combination of the current gear ratio and the new gear ratio to be established, has a likelihood to produce drive train noises, the shift controlling sub-program data is utilized to delay the timing at which the shift controlling solenoid valves are deenergized and energized, thus avoiding or reducing the occurrence of drive train noises during the shift operation.

摘要: There is provided a running device for track-laying vehicle, which can resolve a feeling of fear of falling height in a leading end portion of a crawler while relax a large impact when the crawler runs over a raised contact area. The running device includes a spring constant equalizing unit that equalizes an apparent spring constant of a second arm of lower track roller bogie device over a total length. The apparent spring constant is generated in maximum reverse camber of the crawler. The spring constant equalizing unit increases an oscillation angle α of the second arm that can abut on the first arm in the maximum reverse camber of the crawler such that the oscillation angle α of the second arm is larger than a crossing angle β of the connecting link. Desirably the increased maximum oscillation angle of the second arm is 1.3-2.0 times the crossing angle β.
