Abstract:
A method and apparatus for mobile relay node tracking area configuration and location update. The method includes: configuring a dedicated tracking area for a Donor eNodeB (DeNB); configuring a dedicated tracking area for a mobile Relay Node (RN) accessing the DeNB; when a terminal (UE) accessing the mobile RN registers or tracking area updates, allocating a tracking area identifier list containing the dedicated tracking area to the UE; the dedicated tracking area is a tracking area code dedicated to a mobile relay. The method and apparatus try the best to guarantee that a paging area list allocated to the UE contains the tracking area configured for the mobile relay serving the UE, thereby avoiding that numerous UEs served by the RN trigger location update simultaneously in the process of the RN moving.

Provided are a signal transmission method and apparatus. In the signal transmission method, a terminal device obtains a signal to be sent; and the terminal device sends the signal through a visible light medium, wherein after being demodulated, the signal sent through the visible light medium is carried on a power line for transmission. By virtue of the solution, the problem in related technologies regarding the integration of the visible light communication as a wireless access manner with the power line communication technology is solved, the construction of the communication network can be more convenient and faster, and the advantages of the visible light communication and the power line communication technology are fully utilized.

Methods, systems, and devices related to digital wireless communication, and more specifically, to techniques related to transmitting sidelink capability and security information between peer terminals. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by the first terminal, capability information associated with the first terminal to the second terminal based on a triggering event, the capability information associated with the first terminal relating to a capability of the first terminal to directly communicate with a second terminal. In another exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving information associated with a first terminal from the first terminal, the capability information associated with the first terminal relating to a capability of the first terminal to directly communicate with the second terminal. The method also includes determining transmission parameters for unicast communication with the first terminal.

The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for selecting a radio bearer mode for multicast broadcast services (MBS). The method includes informing a radio access network (RAN) that a user equipment (UE) is receiving/interested to receive or no longer receiving/interested to receive multicast broadcast service (MBS) services via a cast mode. The method includes sending, by the UE, MBS interest information to the RAN, the MBS interest information comprising a list of MBS services of interest.

Methods for resource allocation and provisioning in a wireless user equipment for sidelink communication with another wireless user equipment are disclosed. For example, a preemption procedure is implemented for allocating active Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) processes in a MAC layer of the wireless user equipment to efficient transmit or receive transport blocks. The preemption procedure may be based on preemption status parameters and preemption priority parameters associated with various transport blocks competing for the HARQ process resources.

Multicast Broadcast Services (“MBS”) is a service provided to user equipment (“UE”) devices. As the UE moves through the network, it may switch between network cells. Some network cells include MBS service availability, which will be considered by the UE when selecting cells. MBS service continuity can be maintained when the UE considers MBS service availability for selecting network cells. The service availability of MBS can be determined by the UE while the UE is in an inactive or idle state.
