Abstract:
A window regulator includes a carrier. The carrier includes a holding section and is capable slide along a guide rail with the holding section slidably contacting on the guide rail. The carrier supports a window panel. A brake mechanism is provided on the carrier. The brake mechanism prevents the window panel (the carrier) from self-weight drop by slidably contacting onto the guide rail by an urging force thereof. According to the window regulator, good down operations of the window panel can be maintained even if a slidably contacting portion(s) of the holding section that holds the guide rail becomes worn.
Abstract:
A window pane for a motor vehicle including plastic for closing a pane opening of a motor vehicle and which is moveable with a window lifter out of the pane opening includes a pane element enclosed by an outer edge and a device provided on the pane element for coupling the window pane to an adjusting mechanism of the window lifter. For coupling the window pane to the adjusting mechanism of the window lifter, a guide region is formed on a surface of the pane element via which the window pane is engageable with a guide device of the adjusting mechanism, displaceable in a direction of adjustment. The guide region forms at least one stop, which counteracts a pivoting of the window pane about an axis extending perpendicular to a plane of the window pane.
Abstract:
A fixing system with a fixing means for fixing a window of a motor vehicle. The fixing system comprising a slider and a displacement-force-introducing element being fitted on the fixing means. In an operating position there being an operative connection between the fixing means and the displacement-force-introducing element for the transmission of displacement forces. A reduction means used for reducing a direct transmission of force from the slider to the displacement-force-introducing element.
Abstract:
A closure assembly for a motor vehicle includes a closure member, a guide track and a carrier operably secured to the guide track for movement along the guide track and carrying the closure member therewith. A rack has a plurality of teeth and extends along the guide track. A pinion gear is carried by the carrier and has teeth engaging the rack. A motor is operably connected to the pinion gear to selectively move the closure member from one position to another. The carrier includes at least one engagement member biased into engagement with the guide track to prevent binding of the carrier with the guide track and to maintain contact between the pinion gear and the rack.
Abstract:
A window regulator comprises a front guide rail installed in a front portion of a door and extending upward and downward; a rear guide rail installed in a rear portion of the door and extending upward and downward; a front carrier unit fixed to a lower front portion of the window pane and slidably engaged with the front guide rail through a first mechanism; and a rear carrier unit fixed to a lower rear portion of the window pane and slidably engaged with the rear guide rail through a second mechanism. The first mechanism is constructed to permit a pivotal movement of the front carrier unit about an imaginary axis that extends along the front guide rail. The second mechanism has a with a channel construction includes a slider on the rear carrier unit that is slidably received in a channel construction of the rear guide rail. The construction has a generally C-shaped cross section with its open side facing to the outside an exterior of the door when the door is mounted on a vehicle.
Abstract:
A support slide for window regulators of motor vehicles comprises a body formed, in a single piece of molded plastic material, by a plate portion and a lateral appendage. The plate portion constitutes a fixed jaw of a clamp for tightening a lower edge of a sliding window pane, and the lateral appendage has a sliding channel adapted to receive a guide rail. A movable jaw of the clamp cooperates with the fixed jaw to clamp the lower edge of the window pane. The shank of a screw for tightening the clamp is equipped with a spacer which is contained in a through-hole of the fixed jaw and which projects from the hole at least on the face of the plate portion which is turned towards the movable jaw to constitute an annular abutment surface.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a window regulator comprising a guide rail having a slideway of L-section and a window-bearing slider in which is made a notch adapted to allow fit of the slideway. The notch is defined by walls of which zones are in sliding abutment on the adjacent guiding faces of the slideway. The zones of abutment of the slider are formed by regular surfaces with generatrix parallel to the direction of displacement of the slider.
Abstract:
In an aspect, a lifter plate is provided that is capable of a relatively strong connection to a vehicle window. The lifter plate includes a lifter plate body including a first side wall and a second side wall configured to receive a vehicle window there between, a window holding member positionable in a locking position to prevent the withdrawal of the vehicle window from between the first and second side walls, and a locking member positioned to prevent the movement of the window holding member out of the locking position in the event of a force urging the withdrawal of the vehicle window from between first and second side walls.
Abstract:
A slide member for use in an automotive vehicle. The slide apparatus includes a first slide member having a slidably contacting surface. Additionally, a second slide member is provided having a slidably contacting surface which is in slidable contact with the slidably contacting surface of the first slide member. In this slide apparatus, at least one of the slidably contacting surfaces of the first and second slide members is formed of a transferable water repellent material having a water repellency and a sufficient transferability to form a transferred film of the transferable water repellent material on at least the other slidably contacting surface.
Abstract:
A window regulator comprises a carrier plate, a drive unit, a raising cable, a lowering cable, and a guide rail. The carrier plate is attached to a lower part on a first edge part side of the windowglass. The drive unit is capable of raising and lowering the windowglass via the carrier plate. The drive unit and the carrier plate are coupled by the raising cable and the lowering cable. The guide rail mates with the carrier plate so as to guide the carrier plate and constrain the operation of the windowglass to directions that intersect movement directions of the carrier plate.
