    摘要: A single revolution cam engine is provided, having four equidistant cams on a drive camshaft. Each cam has four equally spaced raised cam lobes. A roller bearing on a bearing pin contacts each cam and is connected to pin arms which contact compression springs, an allen cap screw is in contact with each compression spring, and a piston in a cylinder is in contact with each bearing pin. The single revolution cam engine has particular utility in connection with providing maximum engine power and performance, with power up to four times stronger than that of a conventional four-cycle engine.

    摘要: A homogenous charge compression ignition barrel engine includes an engine housing with a first and second end. An elongated power shaft is longitudinally disposed in the engine housing and defines a longitudinal axis of the engine. A plurality of cylinders surround the longitudinal axis with each cylinder having a closed end and an open end. Each cylinder has a central axis. The open ends of the cylinders are each generally directed toward the first end of the housing. An intake system is operable to introduce a combustible mixture of air and fuel into each of the cylinders. A track is disposed between the first end of the housing and the open ends of the cylinders such that a portion of the track is disposed generally in alignment with the central axis of each of the cylinders. The track has a cam surface that longitudinally undulates with respect to the open ends of the cylinders. A portion of the cam surface is disposed generally in alignment with the central axis of each of the cylinders. The track and the cylinders are rotatable with respect to each other such that the undulating cam surface moves with respect to the open ends of the cylinders. A piston is moveably disposed in each of the cylinders such that a combustion chamber is defined between the piston and the closed end of the cylinder. Each piston is in mechanical communication with the cam surface of the track such that as the cylinders and the track move with respect to each other, the pistons reciprocate within the cylinders. Each cylinder is operable to compress a combustible mixture until the mixture auto ignites, without the introduction of a spark.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine system has an engine body provided with a main combustion engine which generates power by gas explosion and a power transmission apparatus for transmitting to the crank shaft a greater power than is produced by the gas explosion. A booster is provided for providing oil pressure to the power transmission apparatus, an accumulator for maintaining constant control of the pressure in the power transmission apparatus, and a swash plate-type stirling engine connected to the exhaust gas outlet of the main combustion engine. A turbo charger is provided for forcing a supply of fresh air to the combustion chamber by using the exhaust gas. A one-stage screw-type compressor is coupled to the swash plate-type stirling engine so as to generate compressed air, and a plurality of compressed air sources are provided for storing compressed air.

    摘要: In a fluid pump or motor improvements are provided to the piston shoes therein to permit a higher pressure in the respective device. Other improvements are done to the hydrostatic bearings in radial piston or radial chamber type fluid motors and pumps. A further arrangement is, that plural pistons are applied to permit the use of two different fluids in the respective device. This leads also to the application of disc springs and their modification in a pump or motor to make the pumping of non-viscous fluids like water possible at very high pressure. Motors are provided with arrangements to permit them to drive and to carry simultaneously or to have hollow shafts, whereby improved and novel machines and vehicles are obtained.
