摘要: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for searching for a global minimum of a point cloud registration error. The apparatus includes memory in which at least one program is recorded and a processor for executing the program. The program performs collecting multiple registration results in which the registration error between a source point cloud and a target point cloud is a local minimum as candidates and selecting the registration result in which the registration error between the source point cloud and the target point cloud is a global minimum, among the candidates. Collecting the multiple registration results may comprise repeatedly randomly initializing the source point cloud and the target point cloud and registering the initialized source point cloud to the initialized target point cloud to thereby search for a registration result in which the registration error therebetween is a local minimum.

摘要: A platform for design of a lighting installation generally includes an automated search engine for retrieving and storing a plurality of lighting objects in a lighting object library and a lighting design environment providing a visual representation of a lighting space containing lighting space objects and lighting objects. The visual representation is based on properties of the lighting space objects and lighting objects obtained from the lighting object library. A plurality of aesthetic filters is configured to permit a designer in a design environment to adjust parameters of the plurality of lighting objects handled in the design environment to provide a desired collective lighting effect using the plurality of lighting objects.

摘要: A system for displaying a simulated room can comprise a projector, a wall structure element, a physical object, and a room customization station. The room customization station can view images of selectable products and allows a selection thereof to be displayed on the wall structure element or the physical object. The projector can display the selectable product(s) on the wall structure element or the physical object. The physical object can be adjustable in size for different selectable product sizes. The system can include a physical accessory placeable in the simulated room to facilitate visualization of how the physical accessory would appear in the simulated room with the selectable product. Further, the room customization station can prevent a portion of the images from being projected onto a physical feature in the simulated room and allow other portions of the images to be projected into a portion of the simulated room.

Additionally, the technology may output a geometric model of the input data based on the updated set of model weights. In one example, the first neural network and the second neural network reduce the dependence of the geometric model on the number of data points in the input data.
