    摘要: A millimetre wave transceiver includes a multiplexer having a pair of transmit ports, receive ports and antenna ports, an antenna, an orthomode transducer, a pair of modulators each providing a transmit signal at the same frequency and receiving a carrier signal from a local oscillator and a data signal and modulating the carrier signal with the data signal to produce the transmit signal and providing its transmit signal to a corresponding transmit port of the multiplexer, a pair of demodulators each receiving a receive signal at the same frequency from a corresponding receive port and a reference signal from a local oscillator, and demodulating the receive signal at a frequency related to the reference signal to obtain a data signal, wherein at least one of the modulators are connected to a common local oscillator, and the demodulators are connected to a common local oscillator.

    摘要: Systems and methods for transceiver communication are discussed herein. A filter module may be configured to filter each carrier signal of a multicarrier transmit signal with a different bandpass filter, each bandpass filter configured to filter a different frequency band. A carrier control module may be configured to control the plurality of bandpass filters of the filter module using a carrier selection signal to enable or disable each bandpass filter, thereby coupling carrier signals of the multicarrier transmit signal to a first set of bandpass filters and decoupling a second set of bandpass filters. Filtering the carrier signals of the multicarrier transmit signal is performed by the first set of bandpass filters while the decoupling of the second set of bandpass filters limits energy in the respective frequency band. An antenna may be configured to transmit the filtered multicarrier transmit signal.

    摘要: In one example embodiment, a transmitter module includes a header electrically coupled to a chassis ground. First and second input nodes are configured to receive a differential data signal. A buffer stage has a first node coupled to the first input node and a second node coupled to the second input node. An amplifier stage has a fifth node coupled to a third node of the buffer stage and a sixth node coupled to a signal ground that is not coupled to the chassis ground. An optical transmitter has an eighth node coupled to a seventh node of the amplifier stage and a ninth node configured to be coupled to a voltage source. A bias circuit is configured to couple a fourth node of the buffer stage to a bias current source.

The resulting modulated signal includes at least some redundancy in frequency enabling a portion of the information modulated onto selected frequency components to be recovered from fewer than all of the selected frequency components. Controlling the spectrum of the modulated signal includes enabling the amplitude of at least some frequency components of the modulated signal to be set below a predetermined amplitude used for modulating the information.
