    摘要: An excellent liquid-filled vibration damping device is provided, which is capable of effectively suppressing cavitation, which may otherwise cause abnormal noises, without impairing a vibration damping effect. The inventive liquid-filled vibration damping device includes a liquid-filled space partitioned into a primary liquid chamber and a secondary liquid chamber communicating with each other through an orifice, a molded vulcanized rubber member which defines at least a part of the liquid-filled space, and a first retention member and a second retention member retaining the molded vulcanized rubber member. Liquid (P) to be sealingly contained in the liquid-filled space comprises a polar organic solvent as a major component, and not less than 0.2 cm3 of a gas per 1 cm3 of the liquid as measured at an ordinary temperature at an atmospheric pressure is dissolved in the liquid.

    摘要: A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including a partition member having a housing space, and a movable plate housed within the housing space so that displacement thereof is limited by abutment against inside wall faces of the housing space. Abutted sloping faces are defined by outside peripheral portions of the inside wall faces of the housing space situated in opposition in an axial direction while sloping axially outside going towards an inner peripheral side. An outside peripheral abutting portion formed of a rubber elastic body is provided to an outside peripheral portion of the movable plate, and abutting sloping faces are defined by opposite faces of the outside peripheral abutting portion that slope axially outside going towards the inner peripheral side. The abutted sloping faces and the abutting sloping faces have different slope angles so as to slope relative to each other.

    摘要: An electronically switchable bi-state engine mount includes a housing having an inertia track received in the housing between first and second fluid chambers. A fluid damped first path communicates between the chambers, and a non-damped second path or bypass opening also communicates between the chambers. A diaphragm encloses a portion of the second fluid chamber and a seal member on the diaphragm operatively cooperates with a solenoid plunger, where the solenoid is received in the housing to selectively open and close the second path. The diaphragm is enclosed by a cover, which is preferably metal, to enhance thermal conductivity and heat sink properties thereof and improve the useful life of the solenoid.

    摘要: When switching between L3 cylinder cut-off running in which a bank on one side of a V6 engine is cut off and V4 cylinder cut-off running in which one cylinder in each of the two banks is cut off, V6 all-cylinder running to operate all the cylinders is interposed therebetween. Therefore, a transitional period is provided between L3 cylinder cut-off running and V6 all-cylinder running and between V6 all-cylinder running and V4 cylinder cut-off running, and no transitional period is present between L3 cylinder cut-off running and V4 cylinder cut-off running. Thus, it is possible to simplify control of an active vibration isolation support system during the transitional period and to avoid deterioration of a vibrational state during the transitional period.

    摘要: In an electromagnetic actuator including a bearing member which slidably supports a variable core, a yoke for retaining a coil assembly by cooperation with a bottom wall of a housing is connected to the housing, and the bearing member is fitted into the yoke. A support for supporting an outward-facing flange formed at one end of the bearing member is mounted on the bottom wall, and a set spring for biasing the outward-facing flange toward the support is mounted under compression between the outward-facing flange and the first yoke. A low-friction material coating made of a fluorocarbon resin is formed on at least one of opposed sliding surfaces of the bearing member and a movable core. Thus, even if wear powder is generated between the set spring of the bearing member and a portion on which the set spring is pressed, the wear powder is prevented from entering inside the bearing member.

    摘要: A preload shock absorber assembly includes a shock absorber having a hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder includes a rod slideably supported by a cylinder head having a seal at one end of the hydraulic cylinder. A preload air chamber is arranged radially outwardly of the rod seal to provide a first spring having a first spring rate. The pressurized preload air chamber is separated from the rod seal to prevent loss of pressurized from the preload air chamber to the hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized air chamber uses a movable separator that seals the air chamber and isolates the air chamber from the outside environment. A second spring is supported by a seat secured to the hydraulic cylinder outer wall and is arranged between the seat and the separator. A third spring is arranged within the air chamber to supplement the spring rate provided by the pressurized air chamber.

    摘要: An actuator of an active engine vibration isolation support system is driven based on the first, second, third . . . duty groups calculated corresponding to the vibration periods t1, t2, t3 . . . of the engine. When the engine rotational speed varies in the increasing direction and the vibration periods t1, t2, t3 . . . become gradually shorter, parts of the first, second, third . . . duty groups overlap each other, and therefore an electrical current which is supplied to the actuator does not become 0 at the end of the duty groups, leading to a possibility that a peak value of the electrical current gradually increases so that not only the active vibration isolation support system cannot exhibit an effective vibration isolation function, but also the actuator generates heat. Therefore, for example, when the overlapping amount of the first and the second duty groups exceeds a threshold value, a duty ratio of the second duty group is made 0 to stop application of the electrical current to the actuator. Thus, the vibration isolation function of the active vibration isolation support system is prevented from being impaired by the variation in the frequency of the input vibration.
