    摘要: A waveguide interface and a method of manufacturing is disclosed. The interface includes a support block that has a printed circuit board. A communication device is coupled to the circuit board. A launch transducer is positioned adjacent to and coupled to the communication device. The launch transducer includes one or more transmission lines in a first portion and at least one antenna element in a second portion. The antenna element radiates millimeter wave frequency signals. An interface plate coupled to the support block has a rectangular slot having predetermined dimensions. A waveguide component is coupled to the interface plate and has a waveguide opening. The first portion of the launch transducer is positioned within the slot such that the slot prevents energy from the transmission line from emitting toward the circuit board or the waveguide opening but allows energy to pass from the antenna element into the waveguide opening.

    摘要: An equalizer amplifies a predetermined bandwidth of an input signal with an adjustable gain. A driver amplifies an output signal S1 of the equalizer, and outputs the signal thus amplified. An amplifiers amplifies the output signal S1 of the equalizer. A first high-pass filter allows a predetermined bandwidth of the output signal of the equalizer to pass. A second high-pass filter allows a predetermined bandwidth of the output signal of the amplifier to pass. A first error amplifier amplifies the difference between the output signals of the first high-pass filter and the second high-pass filter so as to generate an error signal, and controls the gain of the equalizer according to the error signal thus generated. The amplifier has a configuration in which a single-stage differential amplifier employing MOSFETs is arranged. An adjustment resistor is provided between the drains of the differential transistor pair in order to increase the bandwidth.

    摘要: A microstrip line includes a signal strip conductor and a ground conductor. A coplanar line includes two regions. A first region includes a signal strip conductor which is connected to the signal strip conductor of the microstrip line via a wire or the like and a ground strip conductor which continues to the ground conductor. A second region is formed with a ground strip conductor formed above the ground strip conductor via a through hole. A transmission mode changes itself in the microstrip line, the first region of the coplanar line, and the second region of the coplanar line in the sequence as described. This enables converting the transmission mode efficiently from the microstrip line to the coplanar line.
