    摘要: A television/space heater combination device for displaying image content and for heating air and method of using the same is presented. The television/space heater combination device includes a television, a space heater and, sometimes, a frame. The method of use includes activating the space heater; selecting a temperature value for the space heater; generating heat and distributing the same into a room from the space heater; activating the television; and displaying an image on a screen of the television while generating heat with the space heater. The displayed image may be an image of a wood or gas burning fireplace generated by a continuous video loop; or be images from regular television programming or images generated by data transmitted to the television by a remote computer.

An electrical connector that extends from the support structure may be formed. A power cord connector configured to physically secure and electrically communicate with a power cord may be electrically connected with the electrical connector using a rigid electrical connection.

    摘要: Eye-shield condensation prevention system for use in a ski goggle, dive mask, medical or testing face shield or the like, that prevents undesirable hot spots on the eye-shield and maintains constant heat, with the ability to compensate for variations in resistance encountered from one eye-shield region to another, and/or one eye-shield to another, comprising a power source, a pulse-width modulator, a microcomputer, a heating element, and a sensing circuit. The microcomputer uses the sensing circuit to sense voltage and determine a value of resistance of the heating element. The microcomputer then uses this value to adjust the duty cycle of the pulse-width modulator, and may employ a two-dimensional table in assisting calculation. Multiple pulse-width modulators may be employed that correspond to a plurality of eye-shield regions and a corresponding plurality of heating elements.

    摘要: A substrate subjected to a pattern exposure process is transported to a flash bake unit. The flash bake unit performs a post-exposure bake process in which flashes of light are directed from flash lamps onto a surface of the substrate held on an upper surface of a cooling plate to momentarily heat the surface of the substrate, thereby causing crosslinking, deprotection or decomposition and the like of resist resin to proceed by using active species produced in a resist film by a photochemical reaction during the pattern exposure process as an acid catalyst, so that the solubility of only the exposed portion of the resist film in a developing solution is locally changed. The flash heating treatment performed by the irradiation with flashes of light requires extremely short treatment time of not greater than one second. This reduces the diffusion length of acid during the post-exposure bake process.
