    Abstract: A jet suction method and a jet suction box (14), for a suctioning apparatus (6) of a device (1) for water jet consolidation of a fibrous material web (2), sucks in the liquid jets (4) emitted by the device (1) for water jet consolidation and issuing from the fibrous material web (2) again. A box casing (18) thereof has arranged therein at least one slot shape casing opening (20) which leads to a box interior (17). The jet suction box (14) has on the box casing (18) at least one nozzle attachment (24) which is arranged above the casing opening (20) and which has a slot shape suction opening (25) with a width steadily increasing towards the box interior (17) and towards the casing opening (20). A width of the casing opening (20) is equal to or greater than the outlet-side width of the suction opening (25).

    Abstract: A process and system analyze data provided by a mobile gas measuring device (3a) for generating an alarm. An alarm management system implements the process and system. The measured data are transmitted to another gas measuring device and/or to a data processing unit (1) and are compared to a limit value. If a limit value violation is detected, an alarm control signal is generated for implementing an instruction for action. A hazard potential is determined and is assigned to the limit value violation in the gas measuring device, the other device, and/or in the data processing unit, taking into consideration weighted influencing variables. Upon a first limit value violation and a second limit value violation being determined, the hazard potentials of these violations are compared and a prioritization is determined based on the comparison. The generation of the alarm control signals is carried out based on the determined prioritization.

    Abstract: A preflushing unit (10) preflushes a breathing gas circuit (210) of a closed-circuit respirator (200). A basic body (20) has an inlet port (22), feeding breathing gas from a breathing gas supply (220), an outlet port (24) discharging breathing gas into the breathing circuit, and a flow section (32) fluid connecting a valve chamber (30). A valve body (40) with a sealing surface (42) is arranged in the valve chamber (30). An elastomer body (50) with a counter-sealing surface (52) in the valve chamber, fluid tight separates the flow section from a control section (34). The counter-sealing surface acts with a sealing force against the valve body for sealing the flow section. A control port (26) of the basic body provides a controlled feed of breathing gas from the breathing gas supply into the control section for pressure equalization between the flow section and the control section.
