摘要: In a robot-assisted steerable medical device, such as a catheter, a magnetic connector hub is configured to establish mechanical and magnetic connection between a drive cable and an actuator, or between multiple modules in a single insert-and-twist motion. The connector hub creates a magnetic breakaway feature for automatically decoupling the actuator from the drive cable, while the catheter remains attached. This prevents damage to the catheter/tool and/or patient when an excessive force is applied, and adds a safety element and helps protect the patient. And when the breakaway occurs the system can be automatically reengaged catheter without damage, so that normal operation can resume. Connection can also be broken at any point in the operation based on threshold forces or emergency situations.

The adaptor may further include a ramp extending from a second end of the shell and a carrier coupled to the ramp. In the undepressed state, the carrier may be located at a first position along the ramp, and wherein, in the depressed state, the carrier may be located at a second position along the ramp, wherein the second position may be closer to the second end of the shell than the first position.

摘要: An endoscope adaptor according to an embodiment may include a base portion including a transmission mechanism configured to decelerate and transmit rotation of a driven member configured to be driven to rotate by a drive part of a robot arm to an endoscope holder. The transmission mechanism includes a drive transmission shaft that is configured to be rotated by the rotation of the driven member, a first linkage member that is configured to rotate integrally with the drive transmission shaft, and a second linkage member being rotatable with respect to the drive transmission shaft and configured to rotate with first linkage member in a linked manner. The base portion includes a stopper configured to come in contact with the second linkage member to stop rotation of the drive transmission shaft.

Attached to any rigid, semi-rigid, or flexible endoscope, a surgeon can see the surgical field directly on the camera monitor in their hand because the handheld C-mount HD endo-camera is self-contained and portable, thereby obviating the need for a video tower and associated conventional viewing equipment.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a throat examination device (1) for examining a throat of a patient. The throat examination device (1) has a support arm (7) having a longitudinal axis (X); and an imaging unit (10). 摘要: An endoscopy system including an insertion tube segment, a handle segment, at least one heat source, a heat pipe and a heat-conductive material is provided. The insertion tube segment has first and second end portions opposite to each other and is inserted in the handle segment. An inside of the insertion tube segment and an inside of the handle segment commonly have a connecting space. The at least one heat source is disposed in the first end portion. The heat pipe is disposed in the connecting space and at least extends from a portion of the connecting space of the insertion tube segment to a portion of the connecting space of the handle segment. The heat-conductive material is disposed between the at least one heat source and the first end portion, and the heat-conductive material is thermally coupled to the at least one heat source and the heat pipe, respectively.
