Abstract:
Systems and methods for automatic client management authority assignment are described. In one aspect, it is determined that a network management point has not been configured for a client. Responsive to this, a directory service is requested to automatically assign a site code to the client. The automatically assigned site code identifies the management point through which the client can obtain management service(s).
Abstract:
A proxy computer of a network can receive incoming telephony messages from one or more computers outside of the network and proxy them to computers within the network. Similarly, the proxy computer can receive outgoing telephony messages from within the network and proxy them to computers outside of the network. To set up inbound calls, a proxy program on the proxy computer looks for the presence of an alias in the call signaling messages, references a data structure to determine which computer on the network is associated with the alias, and proxies the call signaling and control messages between the callee computer and the calling computer based on the association, thereby creating a logical connection between the calling computer and the callee computer.
Abstract:
The reaction of the disulphided oil, as obtained from the caustic wash of liquefied petroleum gas, with 2,3,8,9,13,14-hexathia-5,6,11,12 -tetraazatricyclo [8.2.1.14,7]tetradeca-4,6,10,12-tetraene was carried out in one pot and one step to yield a corrosion inhibiting composition comprising predominantly of 2,5-bis(methyldithio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole, 2-methylthio-5-ethylthio-1,3,4-thiadiazole and 2,5-bis(ethyldithio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole, for application in fuels, lubes and greases. Abstract:
A system and method to select a software distribution server to download content from a server to a client, and to execute content on the server for the client, is described. The system and method include a client able to couple to any of the regions of a multi-region network. The client queries a server system for an identification of network software distribution servers. The client and/or server system select the software distribution server according to criteria that include in one implementation the network location of the client and the software distribution servers. In one implementation, the network is a multi-LAN network and the client and/or server system select the software distribution server coupled to the same LAN as the client. In one implementation, the client queries a server for an identification of network management servers on the network, selects a network management server coupled to the same LAN as the client, and queries the selected network management server for an identification of a software distribution server.
Abstract:
Phosphorothionate derivatives derived from cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) for use as an thermally stable antioxidant, antiwear, friction reducing and extreme pressure additive in a lubricant composition are synthesized by the steps of (a) partially hydrogenating distilled technical cashew nut shell liquid with palladium or nickel or platinum catalyst; to hydrogenate the olefinic chain; (b) reacting partially hydrogenated technical cashew nut shell liquid with phosphorus trihalide and sulphur, the reaction being carried out at a temperature ranging from 20 to 220° C. A lubricant containing a major proportion of a material selected from the group consisting of an oil of lubricating viscosity or a grease; and remainder an additive including CNSL phosphorothionate derivative, prepared by the foregoing process.
Abstract:
A lubricating oil composition for gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines includes a major portion of an oil of lubricating viscosity; from 0.1 to 20.0% w/w of a component A which is a sulfurized, overbased calcium phenate detergent derived from distilled, hydrogenated cashew nut shell liquid; and from 0.1 to 10.0% w/w of a component B which is an amine salt of phosphorodithioic acid derived from cashew nut shell liquid and has a general formula as follows:
Abstract:
A process for the preparation of an inert oxide supported metal halide organo aluminium compound catalyst. The catalyst is obtained by reacting an activated support having surface hydroxyl groups with aluminium chloride selected from aluminium chloride solution and aluminium chloride vapors. A solution of an aluminium alkyl is added to the reacted support. The solvent is removed and the reacted support is dried.
Abstract:
The Energy Asset Financing marketplace is an innovative digital platform designed to bridge the investment gap in global energy funding and promote clean energy. The marketplace connects global investors and asset owners offering customized financial instruments and increasing access to finance. It utilizes advanced technologies like blockchain, AI, and data analytics to ensure innovation, seamless operations, and personalized user experiences. Asset owners submit funding proposals. The marketplace prioritizes financially viable assets through rigorous evaluation processes promoting sound investment opportunities. Investors can explore various investment opportunities and actively participate in financing energy assets aligned with their objectives. The platform offers a user-friendly interface, comprehensive information on financial instruments and energy assets, and supports secure transactions and multiple currencies. Tokenization technology allows for fractional ownership and trading of energy assets. Tokens also serve as a reward for sustainable practices. To summarize, the marketplace revolutionizes energy asset financing fostering a sustainable investment ecosystem.
Abstract:
A method of producing hydrocarbon from a subterranean formation comprises: disposing an article in a well penetrating a subterranean formation, the article having a surface coated with a hierarchical superhydrophobic coating or the article being a stand-alone hierarchical superhydrophobic membrane; contacting the article with a flow of a water-based fluid and an oil-based fluid; selectively impeding the flow of the water-based fluid; and allowing the production of the oil-based fluid.
Abstract:
A coating having a gradient composite structure, applied to a substrate, which may be a disposable tool. The gradient composite comprises a bonding component and an erosion and/or corrosion resistant component. When applied to a disposable tool, such as a ball and seat assembly in a downhole environment, the coating enhances the performance of disintegrable materials used in such tools. The coating may be configured to expire at the end of a selected duration, allowing the underlying material to disintegrate.
