    摘要: A prepreg comprising at least one layer of carbon fibres and a curable thermosetting resin system, the curable thermosetting resin system at least partly impregnating the at least one layer of carbon fibres, wherein the curable thermosetting resin system comprises: a. a curable thermosetting resin including at least one epoxide group; b. a curing agent for curing the curable thermosetting resin, wherein the curing agent is present in the liquid phase and includes a cyanamide reactive group; c. an accelerator for accelerating the curing of the thermosetting resin by the curing agent, wherein the accelerator includes at least one urea reactive group; and d. a rheology modifier for the curable thermosetting resin system, wherein the rheology modifier is at least one of a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic particulate thickener or a mixture thereof.

    摘要: A composition contains (a) 1 to 40 weight percent of poly(phenylene ether) particles having a mean particle size of 1 to 40 micrometers; and (b) 60 to 99 weight percent of a polyoxymethylene; wherein polystyrene is absent from the poly(phenylene ether) particles; wherein the composition comprises less than 0.1 volume percent, based on the total volume of the composition, of particulate metals, metalloids, oxides thereof, and combinations thereof, wherein the metals and metalloids are selected from iron, copper, aluminum, magnesium, lead, zinc, tin, chromium, nickel, tungsten, silicon, gold, silver, platinum, and alloys thereof. The poly(phenylene ether) particles reduce the density and increase the char yield of the polyoxymethylene. When the composition is prepared at a temperature below the glass transition temperature of the poly(phenylene ether), increased flexural strength can also be obtained. The composition is useful as a molding composition for a variety of articles.

    摘要: By coating the surface of a powder comprising a silicone resin and/or an organic powder with a specific hydrophilizing agent, such powder is hydrophilized. Such coated (treated) powder has extremely great dispersibility (ease of dispersion) and very good dispersion stability (long-term dispersion stability with lapse of time) in aqueous dispersion media, particularly under acidic and alkaline conditions, specifically at pH 3 through 13. Using the surface-treated powder, additionally, a dispersion with good dispersibility (ease of dispersion) and great dispersion stability, preferably for cosmetics can be provided. The use of the surface-treated powder, or the use of the dispersion can provide further a cosmetic excellent in dispersibility and dispersion stability and further in re-dispersibility and dispersion stability with lapse of time and smooth feeling as compared to the related art when selecting aqueous cosmetic as an agent form.
