Abstract:
A touch screen device and an operating method thereof are provided. More specifically, a touch screen device is provided which allows a user to selectively restrict input through a touch screen. The touch screen device includes a screen that includes a display configured to display images thereon and a detector configured to detect a touch on the display and convert the touch into an electrical signal, and a controller configured to cause images to be displayed on the display and receive and process signals from the detector. Further, a user may determine whether the controller is operated according to the signal input into the detector. The determination may be made either by a switch separately installed on an earphone or by inputting a signal into the detector by a user.
Abstract:
A system for producing gas from organic waste includes a pretreatment unit, which crushes organic waste; an oxidation unit, which oxidizes the crushed organic waste in an oxidation bath; an oxidation unit, which converts the oxidized organic waste into fluid by anaerobic digestion; and a stabilization unit, which divides the fluid into gas and liquid fertilizer when the fluid is supplied into a fluid-stabilizing bath. The oxidation bath has a transparent safety window, a coupler, a first pipe coupled to the coupler and connected to the oxidation pump, a second pipe, a pit formed in a bottom of the oxidation bath. An inorganic-material-discharging unit has one side seated in the pit and the other side exposed from above. A mixer is coupled to a lower inside wall of the oxidation bath corresponding to the pit, and includes first blades coupled to a mixing motor.
Abstract:
In a phase changeable memory device and a method of formation thereof, the phase changeable memory device comprises: a lower electrode pattern on an interlayer insulating layer; an insulating pattern located on the lower electrode pattern; a phase changeable pattern penetrating the insulating pattern and the lower electrode pattern to contact the lower electrode pattern and the interlayer insulating layer; and an upper electrode on the phase changeable pattern.
Abstract:
A phase-changeable memory device may include a substrate, an insulating layer on the substrate, first and second electrodes, and a pattern of a phase-changeable material between the first and second electrodes. More particularly, the insulating layer may have a hole therein, and the first electrode may be in the hole in the insulating layer. Moreover, portions of the second electrode may extend beyond an edge of the pattern of phase-changeable material. Related methods are also discussed.
Abstract:
A touch screen device and method of displaying images using display windows and selecting execution menus displayed on the display windows in a touch screen device are provided. The touch screen device includes a screen, a display configured to display images thereon and a detector configured to detect a touch on the screen, and a controller configured to control operation of the touch screen device in accordance with the screen touch detected by the detector. The controller causes two or more display windows to be displayed in an overlapped manner. Further, if the touch is detected on an underlying display window covered by an overlying display window, the controller causes a display form to be changed in response to the touch. That is, if a touch is detected on the display window covered by the overlying display window, the touched display window is displayed as an overlying display window.
Abstract:
An on-chip transformer balun includes a primary winding as an input terminal of the on-chip transformer balun, and a secondary winding as an output terminal of the on-chip transformer balun, wherein one of the primary winding and secondary winding is formed of a plurality of metal layers in which a spiral trace portion excluding an underpass is disposed on mutually different layers to have an asymmetrical structure.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for tracking location of synchronous and asynchronous mobile communication network subscribers by using a dual stack home location register and a dual stack mobile positioning center. When the dual stack mobile positioning center externally receives a location tracking request for a subscriber, it requests reception subscriber information to the dual stack home location register, confirms whether the terminal is located in a synchronous or asynchronous mobile communication network by referring to the reception subscriber information from the dual stack home location register and network information, and requests location tracking for the terminal to the corresponding mobile communication network. Accordingly, location of the synchronous and asynchronous mobile communication network subscribers can be tracked in the network in which mobile communication networks using different protocols coexist.
Abstract:
A refrigerator including a main body forming a storage compartment to have an opening part in a front side thereof, and a door opening/closing the opening part and including an outer door plate and an inner door plate distanced each other to form a foaming space therebetween, includes a display unit displaying an image, a display accommodating part formed in the door to accommodate the display unit, and a radiating part interposed between the display unit and the outer door plate to contact therewith respectively, and transferring heat generated from the display unit to the outer door plate. Thus, the refrigerator efficiently radiates heat of a display unit.
