Abstract:
An apparatus and method for detecting a target flow in a wireless communication system are provided. The target flow detection method includes receiving a packet, determining a behavior state of the packet, comparing the behavior state with a plurality of stored behavior signatures, retrieving, when the behavior state matches one of the stored behavior signatures, a target flow corresponding to the behavior signature, and instructing a packet processor to process the target flow.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid crystal display (LCD) device in which low power LEDs with a dual lens structure re configured for application in a backlight device to increase the optical efficiency at low power, thus enhancing the brightness, such LCD device including: a lower cover; PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) disposed on the lower cover for receiving power from the exterior; a main body mounted on the PCBs; R, G and B LED (Light Emitting Diode) devices disposed on the main body for emitting light; a first lens having a first curvature and mounted on the main body and housing the R, G and B LED devices; a second lens covering the outside of the first lens and having an inner curved surface with a second curvature having a varying radius of curvature, and an outer curved surface with a third curvature, wherein the second curvature of the inner curved surface is gradually increased from an edge portion toward a central portion; and a liquid crystal panel spaced apart from the second lens by a certain interval and to which light is provided.
Abstract:
A method for laser interference lithography using a diffraction grating includes (a) forming a photoresist layer on a work substrate to which a repeated fine pattern is to be formed; (b) forming a refractive index matching material layer on the photoresist layer; (c) forming on the refractive index matching material layer a diffraction grating layer having a period of diffraction grating within the range from λ/ng to λ/n0 (λ is a wavelength of laser beam, ng is a refractive index of the diffraction grating, and n0 is a refractive index in the air or in vacuum); and (d) exposing the photoresist layer by means of mutual interference of positive and negative diffracted lights with the same absolute value by inputting a laser beam perpendicularly to the diffraction grating layer. This method allows to realize an interference pattern with higher resolution and to use a laser source with lower coherence.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermosensitive pluronic derivative hydrogel for tissue regeneration in which a biodegradable polymer is introduced at one end or both ends of a pluronic polymer, a methacryloxyethyl trimellitic acid anhydride is conjugated to the biodegradable polymer, and a physiologically active substance is fixed to the methacryloxyethyl trimellitic acid anhydride, as well as a method for the preparation thereof. The pluronic derivative hydrogel according to the present invention exhibits high biodegradability due to the introduction of a biodegradable polymer while still maintaining the themosensitivity of the pluronic polymer itself and shows good biocompatibility owing to the coupling with a physiologically active substance capable of improving cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. Therefore, the pluronic derivative hydrogel according to the present invention can be effectively used in the regeneration of various kinds of tissues and organs.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for, upon generation of an event triggering a change in the state of a UE participating in a call, sending service information changed due to the state change to the other participating entity and notifying each user of the service information are provided. When a state change event occurs to a UE, the UE checks its available services and sends a message including service information indicating the available services to the other entity connected to the UE. Therefore, the other entity has knowledge of the actual available services of the UE in a changed environment.
Abstract:
A membrane filtration method and an apparatus for continuously monitoring the state of a membrane during the filtration, particularly for membrane fouling due to cake or gel layers of solutes developed on the surfaces of a filtered membrane, by estimating a membrane potential and a membrane solute rejection while making measurements of a set of physical properties of feed, variations of a streaming potential difference across pores of the membrane, variation in pressure differences between an upstream side and a downstream side of the membrane, and concentration differences between the feed and permeate filtered through the membrane.
Abstract:
A privacy filter and its preparation method are disclosed. One embodiment of the privacy filter comprises: a first transparent substrate; a second transparent substrate positioned a predetermined distance apart from and opposite to the first transparent substrate; an electrolyte filled between the first and second transparent substrates; and a second transparent conductive layer disposed between the electrolyte and the second transparent substrate. The first transparent substrate comprises: an uneven pattern having a wire grid and trenches formed on the first transparent substrate; a first transparent conductive layer formed on the wire grid and the trenches of the uneven pattern; and an electrochromic layer being formed on the first transparent conductive layer along the sidewall of the wire grid and containing an electrochromic material to transmit or absorb visible light depending on whether an electrical signal is applied or not.
Abstract:
The present invention enables a user to receive a financial service anywhere through a mobile terminal equipped with a UIM (User Identification Module) electronic card. In the present invention, a user enters his or her password to a mobile terminal with a UIM card including subscriber telephone number, finance, authorization, and personal information, then, if the entered password is correct, authorization is processed with a remote authorizing server based on the authorization information. After authorization, user's requesting service, e.g., payment service, transaction particulars inquiry service, prepaid card recharging service is conducted through a mobile network.
Abstract:
There are provided a UV high-transmittance double-layer wire grid polarizer for a photo-alignment film and a method for manufacturing the same. The UV high-transmittance double-layer wire grid polarizer for a photo-alignment film includes: a substrate; an anti-reflection layer disposed on the substrate; a patterned photoresist layer disposed on the anti-reflection layer; and metal thin films disposed on the photoresist layer and the anti-reflection layer.
