Abstract:
The invention relates to a reflecting cell including at least two substrates covered by an electrode and facing each other, the substrates delimiting between them a volume which separates them and which is filled with a cholesteric liquid crystal-type material, both electrodes being intended to be connected to a voltage source. This cell includes at least one half-wave plate arranged between both substrates and dividing the volume into two compartments, each enclosing a part of a same cholesteric liquid crystal.
Abstract:
A device for distribution of conditioning air for vehicle turret comprises at least one air duct sheath, the sheath comprising a chute adapted to be made integral with the vehicle and a shutter adapted to be made integral with the turret. The sheath is the form of an arch of circle coaxial with the rotation axis of turret. The device comprises at least one duct in the form of an arch of circle having the same average radius as that of the sheath and able to slide with respect to the sheath between a closed position in which the duct connects one end of the sheath to another end of said sheath, or to another sheath, for continuity of airflow between the sheaths, and an open position in which the duct is slid within the sheath so as to leave a passage transverse to the sheath along a circular sector.
Abstract:
A method for acquiring the coordinates of a trigger point of a projectile above a plot of land on which a target is located, said method being characterized in that it includes the following steps: performing a three-dimensional acquisition of the plot of land using a laser observation means, constructing by calculation, and then displaying an image of the plot of land from a bird's eye view observation direction, and recovering the coordinates of the trigger point desired for the projectile after the positioning said area on the image of the land. The invention also relates to a fire control implementing such a method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a host structure (1) for lying persons and a vehicle provided with such a structure, the structure (1) comprising at least two stretcher supports (2a, 2b, 2c) moveable along a circuit (5a) defined by guiding means (5) parallel to each other. The ends of each stretcher support (2a, 2b, 2c) are attached via a pivot connection (6) to a connecting means (15) which is guided by one of the guiding means (5), each guiding means (5) being conformed so as to form a closed circuit (5a) to allow a circular permutation of the stretcher supports (2a, 2b, 2c).
Abstract:
A seat for a vehicle, including a seating part pivoting about a pivot connection, a pivot connection allowing the seating part to be lowered into a substantially horizontal position or lifted against a back rest, the lowering of the seating part being limited in the course thereof by at least one first abutment that can release the lowering following an impact, the being characterized in that the seating part includes at least two adjacent panels that can carry out a fold-back movement in relation to each other about an axis parallel to the pivot connection between the seating part and the back rest in such a way as to be able to bring the upper faces of the panels towards each other.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an armored ventilation grille for an opening, the grille including an outer side to be exposed to a projectile shot and an inner side to be applied to the opening, the grille including a plurality of parallel bars, the bars having a V-shaped cross-section, each limb of the V being made of of a blade, the blades being arranged in chevrons in order to form baffles such that at least one blade is located in the trajectory of the projectile shot whatever the incidence may be. The grille according to the invention wherein the outer blades is made an armored material while the inner blades made of a ductile material, the blades all being fixed to transverse members in the bearing ranges in such a way that they can be disassembled.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a movable artillery gun comprising: a frame supporting a turning plate, turning plate comprising a first pivot link of a vertical axis, turning plate comprising at least one turning motor means for rotating a turning interface around the first pivot link, the turning interface supporting a firing carriage and comprising a fine traverse laying means allowing the carriage to rotate with respect to the turning interface around a second pivot link of a vertical axis.
Abstract:
A weapon system includes a recoiling mass and a cradle, the recoiling mass including a weapon barrel and a breech ring and translating relative to the cradle during firing, and a guide device being provided for guiding this recoil movement of the recoiling mass. This weapon system is characterized in that the guide device includes at least one bar that is secured to the cradle and extends to the rear of the weapon system, the bar cooperating with at least one rail carried by the breech ring. The breech ring is connected to the cradle by two pairs of hydraulic or pneumatic recoil brakes, each rail being arranged between two brakes of the same pair, the body of each brake being secured to the breech ring.
Abstract:
A propulsion device for a rotating blade aerodyne with vertical take-off and landing, comprising a hollow chassis and contra-rotating coaxial rotors with fixed-pitch blades. The means for driving the rotation of each rotor comprise motor means and, for each rotor, a rotating part capable of turning about a yaw axis, located in the central opening of the respective rotor and connected to the latter via a ball joint with finger, the centre of which is the intersection of the prospective rotor disc and the yaw axis and for which the prohibited rotation is that about the axis of rotation of the rotor. Means for controlling the inclination of the rotors about the roll and pitch axes. Aerodyne equipped with the propulsion device.
Abstract:
A launching device comprising at least two tubes intended to receive an ammunition round and each secured to a mount, the mounts being carried by a base, each tube being orientable in elevation and in bearing by motors, a first motor ensuring the pointing in bearing of the two tubes simultaneously and a second motor ensuring the pointing in elevation of the two tubes simultaneously. The bearing pointing axes of the two tubes are parallel to each other and each mount includes a sleeve carrying the tube, the sleeve of each mount being mounted so as to pivot in elevation relative to a fork, the fork being itself mounted so as to pivot in bearing relative to the base.
