    Abstract: A chuck for a capping machine includes a plurality of chuck members, a biasing member configured to bias the plurality of chuck members radially inward, an abutting portion configured to abut against a top face of a cap, and a plurality of chuck jaws provided on an inner surface of each of the plurality of chuck members to engage knurls of the cap. Each of the plurality of chuck jaws includes a leading flank and a trailing flank. An angle of the trailing flank with respect to an outer circumference of the cap is less than an angle of the leading flank with respect to the outer circumference of the cap.

    Abstract: A dialysis apparatus has a connection channel that communicatively connects a dialysate circuit and a blood circuit, and circulates dialysate from the dialysate circuit to the blood circuit via the connection channel during a priming operation. A blood pump has a tube attachment device that switches from an unattached state in which a tube is positioned outside a housing and permits liquid to circulate thereinside, to an attached state in which the tube is in the housing and a rotor compresses the tube. At the time of priming, the liquid feeding pump feeds dialysate from the dialysate circuit to the blood circuit via the connection channel. With the blood pump being in the unattached state, the dialysate is circulated past the blood pump, and then, with the blood pump in the attached state, the dialysate is circulated in a direction opposite to the blood pump.

    Abstract: This dialysis device is configured so that residual liquid in a powder container 42 and a bypass path 51 can be drained. Accordingly, the dialysis device is provided with: a first liquid draining path 71 connecting a clean water supply path 31 to a stock solution supply path 44 on the upstream side of a liquid feed pump 33; a second liquid draining path 72 connecting the clean water supply path to a dialysate discharge path 32 on the downstream side of the liquid feed pump; and an opening path 77 allowing a branch path 43 to communicate with the outer space by opening an on-off valve 78. By opening the on-off valve of the opening path and actuating the liquid feed pump, a liquid in the powder container 42 and a liquid in the bypass path 51 can be discharged through the first liquid draining path and the second liquid draining path.

    Abstract: A capping machine includes a gripper having a pair of gripping arms provided on an outer peripheral portion of a rotating body and configured to grip a cylindrical portion of a vessel, an opening and closing device configured to open and close the gripping arms, and a capping head liftably and rotatably provided on the rotating body. The gripping arms are arranged symmetrically with respect to a radius of the rotating body. The gripper has a protrusion for preventing the vessel from rotating on a vessel gripping surface of the gripping arms. The gripping arms have outer and inner gripping surfaces which are connected in a V shape. The protrusion is formed only on the inner gripping surface of a right gripping arm. A cap held by the capping head is screwed onto the vessel while sticking the protrusion into the cylindrical portion.

    Abstract: A filling valve for filling liquid into a bottle is provided that comprises a nozzle having an outlet on its bottom end and a seat on its interior surface, a stem arranged inside the nozzle and having a plug provided on its outer periphery, a helical vane provided on the outer periphery of the stem for inducing a spiral flow, and a bevel with expanding diameter in the downward direction is provided at the bottom end of the stem. The filling valve is closed when the stem descends and the plug makes contact with the seat. The filling valve is opened when the stem ascends and the plug separates from the seat. The bevel is extended below the outlet when the plug is opened. The liquid revolved via the helical vane and ejected from the outlet is spread by the bevel toward a bottle finish or neck.

    Abstract: Weighing and filling apparatus for controlling filling device based on a container weight. A linear actuator for driving a drive shaft coupled to container support unit is included, a weight measuring unit determines the container weight from a detected height of the drive shaft detected by a height detecting unit and a drive signal of the linear actuator at the detected height. A first acceleration signal is calculated from a specified height of the container support unit set in advance and the height detected by the height detecting unit, a second acceleration signal is calculated from the container weight and an expected weight expected to be applied to the container support unit. The container support unit is kept at the specified height by a drive signal calculated from the first and second acceleration signals.

    Abstract: A container conveyor system includes a first endless conveyor and a second endless conveyor. The first endless conveyor is provided with a plurality of neck grippers that holds the neck of a capped container and conveys the container held by the neck gripper by moving the neck gripper. The second endless conveyor is provided with a plurality of vertical grippers that comprises an upper grip member, which is liftable and abuts against the top of the cap of the container, and a support plate that supports the base of the container. The second endless conveyor conveys the container held by the upper grip member and the support plate by moving the vertical gripper. The container conveyor system conveys the container by transferring the container between the neck gripper and the vertical gripper.

    Abstract: A filling nozzle provided with a filling cylinder, an air-injection cylinder, and an air-supply unit. The filling cylinder is configured such that an auger rotates about the axis thereof to discharge powder through an opening provided at the lower end of the filling cylinder. The air-injection cylinder is fitted to the exterior of the filling cylinder to form an annular space between the filling cylinder and the air-injection cylinder. The air-supply unit supplies air in the annular space. A tip portion of the air-injection cylinder extends downward below the opening and has an air-discharge mouth formed in a tapered shape such that the tip portion has a diameter smaller than that of the opening.
