Abstract:
An ultrasonic flowmeter includes a transmission/reception means provided in a flow path for performing transmission/reception using a state change of fluid; repetition means for repeating the transmission/reception; time measurement means for measuring a time of propagation repeated by the repetition means; flow rate detection means for detecting a flow rate based on a value of the time measurement means; and number-of-times change means for changing to a predetermined number of repetition times. With such a structure, an influence caused by a variation of a flow can be suppressed by changing the number of repetition times so as to be suitable for a variation. As a result, reliable flow rate measurement with a high accuracy can be achieved.

A cable modem module device comprising a coaxial connector to transmit and receive high-frequency signals, a circuit board to which the coaxial connector is attached to protrude from its periphery in a direction parallel to its surface, and a first shield case formed in its portion corresponding to the coaxial connector with a cutout portion to avoid the coaxial connector so as to allow the circuit board to be housed from a direction perpendicular to the surface of the circuit board.
Abstract:
For the purpose of solving the above problems, the present invention includes: transmission/reception means provided in a flow path for performing transmission/reception using a state change of fluid; repetition means for repeating the transmission/reception; time measurement means for measuring a time of propagation repeated by the repetition means; flow rate detection means for detecting a flow rate based on a value of the time measurement means; and number-of-times change means for changing to a predetermined number of repetition times. With such a structure, an influence caused by a variation of a flow can be suppressed by changing the number of repetition times so as to be suitable for a variation. As a result, reliable flow rate measurement with a high accuracy can be achieved.

A double super tuner for receiving television signals from conventional broadcast, CATV, satellite broadcast, and HDTV. A first frequency converter converts an input high-frequency signal in a first intermediate frequency band signal based on a first local oscillator signal. The output of the first frequency converter is band-pass filtered by a dielectric filter. A second frequency converter converts the output of the dielectric filter into a second intermediate frequency band signal based on a second local oscillator signal.
Abstract:
A coding data is performed in decoding by a stream decoding circuit, an IDCT circuit and an MC circuit. An AGU stores decoding data from the MC circuit to a memory. Regarding the decoding data of a B picture, the AGU writes only the decoding data which are necessary for image display, to a B picture region. Thus, a room occurs in a memory capacity. It is possible to hold the decoding data of the B picture through 2 field periods of time. It is possible to read twice the same decoding data, for display processing. Thus, frame interpolation processing is made possible, and it is possible to obtain a magnified image having high image quality.
Abstract:
A read control circuit reads image data, which are stored in a decoding image memory, at a read speed m/n times a display speed. These image data are written to line memories by a write control circuit. A read-address control circuit reads the image data from the line memories at a display speed, and line data for a letter-box image are generated by multipliers and an adder. Specifically, the line data of m lines which are read from the decoding image memory are transformed to n lines so that a letter-box display is made possible. Thus, letter-box transformation processing is performed with less memory capacity without the use of a field memory.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner with fuzzy control comprises a detector for detecting condition of sucking of dust, such as an amount of dust, a kind of dust and/or a kind of a surface of a floor to be cleaned. A fuzzy inference section responsive to the condition of sucking of dust determines an appropriate sucking force and controls the vacuum cleaner's sucking force through fuzzy inference.

A control apparatus of an electrical appliance comprising a sensor for detecting a physical amount; and a fuzzy inferring device for determining the drive condition of a load by fuzzy inference based on a signal outputted from the sensor, and wherein the sensor has at least one normalized membership function to be used by fuzzy inference and achieves a plurality of membership functions which can be expressed by congruent curves by performing a predetermined subtraction or an addition on the signal outputted from the sensor.

Provided is technology which can prevent plunger deformation and further stabilize an intraocular lens insertion operation, even when an insertion tube section of an intraocular lens insertion apparatus has been further reduced in terms of the diameter thereof and has been made flatter. The intraocular lens insertion apparatus includes: a tip end region where a plunger comes into contact with an intraocular lens main body and an intraocular lens holding section; and a bar-shaped section extending from the rear end of this tip end region to the rear of the plunger. The bar-shaped section has a fixed thickness in the direction of the optical axis of the intraocular lens, and has an increasing thickness in a portion where the distance from the tip end of the tip end region is equal to or greater than a predetermined distance in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and perpendicular to the plunger advancement direction.
