    Abstract: Each of subpixels includes: an upper electrode; a lower electrode; an organic light-emitting layer sandwiched between the upper electrode and the lower electrode; and a lower carrier supply layer sandwiched between the lower electrode and the organic light-emitting layer. The lower carrier supply layer is configured to: make contact with the lower electrode and the organic light-emitting layer, respectively; supply carriers from the lower electrode to the organic light-emitting layer; cover the lower electrode entirely in an opening of the pixel defining layer; and have an edge at a top surface of the pixel defining layer surrounding the lower electrode. The organic light-emitting layer covers an entire surface of the lower carrier supply layer including the edge of the lower carrier supply layer.

The controller is configured to: provide driving potentials to the touch panel electrodes in measuring capacitances for detecting a touch point; and provide driving potentials to the one or more lower light distribution control electrodes with reference to the driving potentials given to the touch panel electrodes to control a state of the colored electrophoretic particles in the plurality of electrophoretic elements.

    Abstract: Thermoelectric conversion cells of a thermoelectric conversion element include a thermoelectric conversion layer formed on a main surface of a substrate, an insulating layer covering the thermoelectric conversion layer, a first electrode including a first layer and a second layer, and a second electrode. The first layer connects to the main surface of the thermoelectric conversion layer via a first contact hole, and the second layer covers the first layer.
