A cushioned tool handle device includes a handle having a channel to receive one end of a tool member and having one or more orifices, the tool member includes one or more apertures aligned with the orifices of the handle to receive fastener pins which may secure the tool member to the handle. An outer cushioning sleeve is attached onto an outer peripheral portion of the handle, to enclose the orifices of the handle, and to stably retain the fastener pins within the orifices of the handle. Each fastener pin includes an extension having an outer diameter smaller than that of the fastener pin, to form a peripheral shoulder and to engage with the tool member, and to solidly secure the tool member to the handle.

A display replicate construct applied in portable information device discloses that the internal or external of an information device is installed with a connector to expand the display efficiency of the display module in the information device internally or externally. Therefore, the information device with low resolution display processing device can be linked to a high resolution display processing module by the connector, and via a switching module, the information device can manage the function of switching the two display processing modules as well so as to achieve the purpose of expanding the display efficiency of information device.

A utility knife includes a handle having a passage to slidably receive a blade carrier which has a space to receive a knife blade and to move the knife blade into or out of the handle. The blade carrier includes a spring limb having a latch to engage with and to anchor the knife blade to the blade carrier. An actuator device may selectively disengage the latch of the spring limb from the knife blade, to release the knife blade from the blade carrier. One or more spare blades may be received in the handle, and one spare blade may be biased into the space of the blade carrier when the blade carrier is moved into the handle and when the space of the blade carrier is emptied.

The receiving element is configured for receiving a lightning's electrical power in an environment. The conduction element is coupled to the receiving element and is configured for conducting a first path or a second path in accordance with an electrical property of the lightning's electrical power. The voltage dividing element is coupled to the limiting current element and is configured for dividing a voltage of the lightning's electrical power. The storage element is coupled to the voltage dividing element and is configured for storing the lightning's electrical power.

The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus that satisfies the need for a bioelectronic tongue for food allergy detection. The method of detecting concentration of food allergen incorporates antibodies into an electronic tongue to create a bioelectronic tongue. Additionally the method uses impedance, capacitance, and/or other related electrochemical methods for detecting analyte in complex media. Furthermore the method additionally includes methods to subtract out non-specific interactions. The method also subtracts non-specific interactions. The device/apparatus is a Bioelectronic Tongue for detecting allergen in diluted food samples. The device includes: a sensor array; an impedance or capacitance analyzer; a preprocessor; a feature extractor; a pattern recognizer; and an output device indicating an allergen concentration. In order to implement the method of detecting food allergens on a bioelectronic tongue a computer readable medium containing an executable program is used for performing the analysis of a food sample. The executable program performs the acts of: preprocessing data from an impedance analyzer; extracting a feature pattern; recognizing a pattern of features of data representing a concentration of food allergen contained is the food sample; and outputs allergen concentration data.

A receiver is disclosed that includes a slicer having an input to receive a sequence of symbols exhibiting inter-symbol-interference (ISI). The slicer determines a state associated with each symbol based on a threshold. A feedback equalization unit is coupled to the slicer to apply equalization to the symbol fed to the slicer input based on prior detected symbol states. A Least-Mean-Square (LMS) unit cooperates with the slicer and feedback equalization unit to estimate a channel impulse response based on the equalized symbols. The LMS unit feeds the estimated channel impulse response to a Maximum-Likelihood-Sequence-Estimation (MLSE) unit to generate an estimated sequence of bits based on the estimated channel impulse response.

The present disclosure provides an LED lighting device comprising a heat dissipation body, a driver module and a lighting module. The heat dissipation body includes a base, a heat dissipation wall, heat dissipation fins and a top face. The heat dissipation wall defines a heat dissipation channel therein and is formed with first through holes. The heat dissipation fins are formed on and encircle the heat dissipation wall. The top face is formed with a first opening The driver module is disposed inside the heat dissipation body. The lighting module includes a tube body and LED light sources. The tube body has two end openings in fluid communication with each other and one of the end openings is connected to the first opening The LED light sources are arranged on the tube body and are electrically connected to the driver module.

Methods and apparatuses to power off a modem receiver or components of the receiver at a time prior to the end of the frame based on data in the frame being received and properly decoded before the end of the frame. In an aspect, the apparatuses and methods provide power saving in a wireless device, and include receiving data within a frame at a user equipment, determining whether all payload packet data has been correctly decoded prior to an end of the frame, and powering down a receiver component for a portion of a remainder of the frame in response to determining that all payload packet data has been correctly decoded and where a first time period to a next scheduled overhead bit transmission period of a slot in the frame is greater than a second time period corresponding to a warm-up period for the receiver component.

The present invention is directed to methods and devices for tracking moving characters of at least two moving objects. The present invention identifies an occlusive condition(s) of the moving objects on a video frame(s), analyzes information of a physical framework(s) of the moving objects, finds and records a position(s) of the occluded moving object(s) on the video frames and tracks a moving character(s) of the moving objects. The present invention further provides devices and methods for tracking the moving characters of behaviors of living bodies.

A stereoscopic optical device includes a substrate, an alignment film and a liquid crystal layer. The alignment film includes at least one first region and at least one second region. The liquid crystal layer, disposed on the alignment film, includes first liquid crystal molecules and second liquid crystal molecules. The first liquid crystal molecules correspond to the first region of the alignment film and have a first pre-tilt angle, the second liquid crystal molecules correspond to the second region of the alignment film and have a second pre-tilt angle. The fast axis of the first liquid crystal molecules and the fast axis of the second crystal molecules substantially face the same direction, and the slow axis of the first liquid crystal molecules and the slow axis of the second liquid crystal molecules substantially face in the same direction.
