An oxygen rich air inhaler for use in stress relief and fatigue recovery has a casing, an inlet duct and an exhaust duct. The casing is separated into a compressor chamber and an adsorber chamber by a partition. The inlet duct has an inlet open to an end wall on the side of the adsorber chamber and provided at an upper portion of the adsorber chamber so as to communicate with the compressor chamber. The exhaust duct has an exhaust outlet open to an end wall on the side of the adsorber chamber and provided at a lower portion of the adsorber chamber so as to communicate with the compressor chamber. A suction fan and at least one compressor are disposed in the compressor chamber. At least two adsorbers, which communicate with the compressor via a selector valve, and an oxygen rich air tank, communicating air outlets of the adsorbers, are disposed in the adsorber chamber. An air inlet for the compressor and an exhaust outlet for air desorbed from the adsorbers are disposed downstream of the compressor chamber. An inhalation mask communicates with oxygen rich air tank for inhaling oxygen rich air.

An adsorptive separation process of the present invention relates to a process for separating hydrogen and/or helium by a pressure swing adsorption process using four or more adsorbent beds. Each adsorbent bed manipulates the individual steps of adsorption, equal depressurization, cocurrent depressurization, countercurrent depressurization, purging, equal pressurization, product pressurization and raw gas pressurization while sequentially switching them and carries out the raw gas pressurization step for applying pressure with raw gas as the final step for pressuring the adsorbent bed to the adsorbent pressure. Accordingly, a variation in pressure and flow rate can be suppressed, product can be attained stably, and the amount of product can be increased.

This process sequentially carries out an adsorbing step for removing water vapor and nitrogen and hydrogen reaction products; a hydrogen oxidation step for converting the hydrogen into water vapor by means of a hydrogen oxidation catalytic reaction in the presence of oxygen; and a drying step for removing water vapor generated in the hydrogen oxidation step. When nitrogen oxides are included as a trace constituent, then a denitration step is carried out prior to the adsorbing step, to convert nitrogen oxides into nitrogen and water vapor by means of a catalytic denitration reaction in the presence of a reducing substance.
