摘要: A particle fixing unit fixes a particle. A needle is arranged in such a manner that an angle between a surface on a side of the particle fixing unit on which the particle is fixed and a longitudinal center axis of the needle becomes equal to or more than 45 degrees and equal to or less than 135 degrees. An image forming unit forms, when observing at least one of the particle and the needle across the particle fixing unit, at least one of an image of the particle and an image of the needle, based on a light transmitted through the particle fixing unit.

摘要: An image processing apparatus and image processing system make it possible to easily and fast perform electronization processing of reading a large quantity of manuscripts with a plurality of image processing apparatus to generate the images read from the large quantity of manuscripts as a piece of electronic data. To accomplish this, the image processing system is equipped with multi function peripherals (MFP) 201, 202 and 203. An MFP of a combination destination sends a management table for managing image data of the MFP of the combination destination to an MFP of a transmission source. The MFP of the transmission source designates an image data combination position, generates a management table for managing the image data of the MFP of the transmission source, generates a management table, in which the management table of the transmission source is added to the management table of the combination destination, and transfers the image data of the MFP of the transmission source and the management tables to the MFP of the combination destination. The MFP of the combination destination combines the image data of the MFP of the transmission source and the image data of the MFP of the combination destination based on the management tables and the combination position.

摘要: A recording sheet adaptable to print an image using pigment ink, on which a smear is hardly generated, is provided. A recording sheet includes an ink permeable layer prepared by adding 3-30 parts by weight of a nonionic surfactant including an amine compound as a main component to 30 parts by weight of a water-insoluble component including an inorganic filler and a binder as main components. Ink applied on such an ink permeable layer is directly absorbed into the layer in a depth direction without dispersing in a lateral direction. Therefore, any smear (banding) is hardly generated on a printed image formed on the recording sheet using ink.

摘要: A recording sheet for use with inkjet printers which achieves high color density while being free of bleeding is provided. The recording sheet has an ink-receiving layer and an ink permeable layer arranged on a surface of the ink-receiving layer. The ink permeable layer includes a filler, a surfactant, and a binder. The surfactant includes a fluorosurfactant having perfluoro-alkyl groups in its chemical structure. The ink permeable layer is made hydrophobic as well as lipophobic since hydrophilic groups on the surfaces of the filler particles will be covered by perfluoro-alkyl groups of the fluorosurfactant. This prevents aqueous ink added an organic solvent from dispersing within the ink permeable layer. The ink permeable layer includes a binder containing a water-insoluble resin having a hydroxyl value of 4 or higher (mgKOH/g) to lower the affinity to the ink.

摘要: An Electron Beam Tester which corrects deformation of a secondary electron image produced from scanning a sample with an electron beam. The secondary electron image is stored in a storage unit. Luminance data of the stored image is accumulated to obtain a projected luminance distribution. The projected luminance distribution data is then analyzed by a parallelism evaluation unit to obtain a rotation angle. Then the rotation angle is used to determine maximum parallelism and correct deformation of the secondary electron image by providing deflection control which transforms the deflectors .
