摘要: A fluorescent lamp including a phosphor layer including (Y1-x-yGdx)AlO3:EU3+y, wherein 0.4≦x≦0.7 and 0≦y≦0.1, and at least one of each of a green and blue emitting phosphor. The resulting lamp will exhibit a white light having a color rendering index of preferably 90 or higher with a correlated color temperature of from 2500 to 10000 Kelvin. The use of (Y1-x-yGdx)AlO3:Eu3+y in phosphor blends of lamps results in high CRI light sources with increased stability and acceptable lumen maintenance over, the course of the lamp life.

摘要: The invention is directed to a process wherein a feedstock or stream comprising steam cracker tar is passed to a vacuum pipestill. A deasphalted cut of tar is obtained as an overhead (or sidestream) and a heavy tar asphaltenic product is obtained as bottoms. In preferred embodiments, at least a portion of the bottoms product is sent to a partial oxidation unit (POX) wherein syn gas may be obtained as a product, and/or at least a portion of the bottoms product is used to produce a light product stream in a coker unit, such as coker naphtha and/or or coker gas oil. In another preferred embodiment at least a portion of the overheads product is added to refinery fuel oil pools and in yet another preferred embodiment at least a portion of the overheads product is mixed with locally combusted materials to lower soot make. Two or more of the aforementioned preferred embodiments may be combined.

摘要: A system for storing and dynamically updating data represented in the Extensible Markup Language (XML) which separates the data values in at least some of the elements of an XML document and places those data values in relational database tables where they may be processed using conventional RDBMS techniques. The hierarchical structure of the XML document is saved separately in an XML skeleton object from which element data other than primary key values has been removed. The XML documents document type definition (DTD) is stored, along with additional property data used the RDBMS, in an XML Definition object. The additional property information includes the identification of primary key data values which are used to link the structural definition data to the value data stored in the tables, the designation of data types used for more efficient storage of data from predetermined XML elements, the designation of selected element data for indexing and for column storage, and the designation or relational integrity constraints which help insure that logically connected data is not inappropriately deleted or updated. The XML data as stored in the relational tables can be retrieved as a complete XML document, or selected XML elements can be retrieved by themselves, by merging the table data into the XML skeleton.

摘要: A portable tracing utility provides trace configuration, trace instrumentation and trace management functionality for single or multithreaded programs. Through various application programming interfaces (“APIs”) of the tracing utility, a client may control tracing behavior to setup in-memory data structures for storing trace records that record the program's history of execution or to alter the granularity of execution history being traced. The trace behavior can be modified during the life of a program by using the APIs, either dynamically when the program assumes certain states, or through remote procedure calls issued by, for example, an external interface. Programs are instrumented with these APIs to record the history of execution, which during execution of the program is stored in circular in-memory buffers.

摘要: A phosphor comprises an oxide that comprises: (a) at least an element selected from the group consisting of phosphorus and boron; (b) at least a metal selected from the group consisting of elements of Group IIIA, elements of Group IVA, and elements of the lanthanide series; which oxide is co-activated with Ce3+ and Tb3+. In one embodiment, a phosphor comprises lanthanum and gadolinium phosphate and/or borate co-activated with cerium and terbium. A phosphor of the present invention has low emission of UV radiation having wavelengths longer than about 250 nm, thus efficiently uses exciting UV having shorter wavelengths. The phosphor is used in light source that comprises a UV radiation source to convert efficiently UV radiation to visible light.
