摘要: Compositions and methods for determining the origin location of a subterranean rock sample. Compositions include a nanoparticle tag with a fluorescent core and a polymer shell. The fluorescent core can include up-converting nanoparticles, rare earth element doped oxide, long persistent fluorescent materials, or encapsulated lanthanide complexes. Methods include mixing a nanoparticle tag into a fluid, flowing the fluid through a work string into a subterranean formation, recovering subterranean rock samples from the subterranean formation, and determining an origin location of the subterranean rock sample by detecting the presence of the nanoparticle tag on the sample.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a ratiometric fluorescent probe, a preparation method thereof, and an application in detection of hydrogen peroxide. In the present disclosure, MoOx QDs (nanoenzymes) and Co/Zn-MOFs both have catalytic activity, and the large specific surface area and porous structure of Co/Zn-MOFs can provide more binding sites for the contact between nanoenzymes and substrates. Moreover, Co/Zn-MOFs have high catalytic activity similar to natural enzymes. When nanoenzymes with fluorescent properties encounter Co/Zn-MOFs with similar catalytic activity, they will collide with a spark of “synergy catalysis”, and the fusion of the two plays a role of synergy catalysis; in addition, the uniform cavity of Co/Zn-MOFs can provide “hosts” for nanoenzymes, and Co/Zn-MOFs provide “anchors” for MoOx QDs, avoiding the aggregation of MoOx QDs and enhancing the stability of the probe.

摘要: This invention provides a groundbreaking approach to PLNPs and their preparation. In particular, the synthetic methodology disclosed herein fundamentally differs from the traditional solid-state annealing reactions that require extreme and harsh reaction conditions. In one unique aspect of the invention, a simple, one-step mesoporous template method utilizing mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) is disclosed that affords in vivo rechargeable NIR-emitting mesoporous PLNPs with uniform size and morphology. In another unique aspect of the invention, the novel synthetic approach is based on aqueous-phase chemical reactions conducted in mild conditions, resulting in uniform and homogeneous PLNPs with desired size control (e.g., sub-10 nm).

The scintillator comprises an inorganic scintillator portion made of inorganic scintillating material and comprising one or more inorganic material elements. 摘要: A method of synthesis of two-dimensional (2D) nanoparticles comprises combining a first nanoparticle precursor and a second nanoparticle precursor in one or more solvents to form a solution, followed by heating the solution to a first temperature for a first time period, then subsequently heating the solution to a second temperature for a second time period, wherein the second temperature is higher than the first temperature, to effect the conversion of the nanoparticle precursors into 2D nanoparticles. In one embodiment, the first nanoparticle precursor is a metal-amine complex and the second nanoparticle precursor is a slow-releasing chalcogen source.
