More specifically, a set of first lands on the circuit board are connected to a first set of lands on the IC. The circuit board and IC are positioned so as to present a second set of lands on the circuit board in close proximity to a second set of lands on the IC A first flex circuit is connected to the second lands on the circuit board while a second flex circuit is connected to the second lands on the IC. The flex circuits may be connected to signal wires or may serve themselves as the main signal wires.

    摘要: The boat trailer cutout switch is convenient alternative to unplugging a boat trailer before submerging the trailer in water. This system will allow the operator to discontinue the flow of electricity to the trailer while seated in the drivers seat of the tow vehicle. It will also give the operator visible and audio cues as to the mode of operation and the output of the system. The operational mode function will cause a light to illuminate and an audio devise to sound when no electricity is being sent to the trailer. The output function will illuminate a light for either turn signal as a flashing light or brake lights in a continuous light. The running lights will illuminate a separate light. Both signal inform the operator of electricity leaving the system. This system will be easily bypassed incase of malfunction and will self energize when coupled to the boat trailer.

    摘要: An optical flow is disclosed having a shell with a first portion and a second portion. The first portion provides a light entry aperture, and the second portion provides an imaging aperture. An inlet tube and an outlet tube are retained between the first portion and the second portion. A viewing assembly is retained between the first portion and the second portion. The viewing assembly includes a reference plate and a flow channel. The flow channel fluidly communicates with the inlet tube and the outlet tube. The reference plate extends from the shell to serve as a repeatable reference point for properly positioning the optical flow cell.

    摘要: A system and method for controlling the heat of an ultrasonic transducer is disclosed. In the presently preferred embodiments, the system and method controls the temperature of the transducer by changing operating system parameters based on feedback from temperature sensing elements placed in the transducer. The chosen mutable system parameters may be preset by the construction of the ultrasonic system, under the control of the ultrasonic system user, or a combination of the two. In several exemplary embodiments, the one or more mutable system parameters are altered by an amount proportionate to the difference between the current temperature and a preferred operating temperature. In another exemplary embodiment, the system switches to a lower power imaging mode when the temperature feedback indicates a threshold temperature has been reached.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for increasing the depth of focus of the human eye is comprised of a lens body, an optic in the lens body configured to produce light interference, and a pinhole-like optical aperture substantially in the center of the optic. The optic may be configured to produce light scattering or composed of a light reflective material. Alternatively, the optic may increase the depth of focus via a combination of light interference, light scattering, light reflection and/or light absorption. The optic may also be configured as a series of concentric circles, a weave, a pattern of particles, or a pattern of curvatures. One method involves screening a patient for an ophthalmic lens using a pinhole screening device in the lens to increase the patient's depth of focus. Another method comprises surgically implanting a mask in the patient's eye to increase the depth of focus.
