摘要： A failure diagnosis apparatus for diagnosing a failure of an evaporative fuel processing system. A pressure in the evaporative fuel processing system is detected, and a purge control valve and a vent shut valve are closed when stoppage of the engine is detected. A determination is made as to whether there is a leak in the evaporative fuel processing system based on the detected pressure during a predetermined determination period after closing of the purge control and vent shut valves.

摘要： A lens holder for holding a plurality of lenses is provided. The lens holder is assembled from a plurality of subunits divided on a plane that is parallel to an optical axis. A subunit includes a substantially cylindrical outer shell and front side rear side portions that extend from an inner surface of the outer shell toward the optical axis to support at least one lens from in front and behind respectively. When the at least one lens is attached between the portions, one of the portions is harder to deform than the other of portions.

This lens holder is at least partially assembled from subunits divided on a plane that includes the optical axis. In a connecting shell that connects a first shell and a second shell and holds an optical element for bending an optical path, an optical path of only one subunit is effectively used. The toner for electrophotography of the present invention can be used for, for example, developing electrostatic latent images formed in electrophotography, electrostatic recording method, electrostatic printing method, or the like.

摘要： Provided is a nitride semiconductor device with high reliability and high flexibility in design and manufacture of the device. The nitride semiconductor device comprises a seed crystal portion (11) formed on a sapphire substrate (10) and having a mask (12) on one side surface thereof, and a GaN layer (15) grown on the sapphire substrate (10) and the seed crystal portion (11) through epitaxial lateral overgrowth. The GaN layer (15) is grown only from an exposed side surface of the seed crystal portion (11) which is not covered with the mask (12), so the lateral growth of the GaN layer (15) is asymmetrically carried out. Thereby, a meeting portion (32) is formed in the vicinity of a boundary between the seed crystal portion (11) and the mask (12) in a thickness direction of the GaN layer (15). Therefore, as the meeting portion (32) is formed in a position away from the center between the adjacent seed crystal portions (11) in a direction parallel to a surface of the substrate, a width WL of a lateral growth region is larger with respect to a pitch WP of the seed crystal potion (11), compared with conventional configurations.
