摘要： An occupant restraint system includes an airbag and an inflator. A gas supply pipe extending from the inflator is inserted into the interior of the airbag and immovably fixed in a manner in which the gas supply pipe is clamped from above and below by a pipe support formed in the airbag from a part of stitching defining a plurality of cells. The gas supply pipe can thus be fixed without employing any special fixing member, thereby reliably preventing blockage of the gas nozzle that would cause interference with smooth issuing of the gas and preventing damage to a base fabric of the airbag by the heat and pressure of the gas.

摘要： In an active matrix substrate, a glass substrate is provided with TFTs having gate electrodes connected to scanning lines also provided on the glass substrate. The glass substrate is further provided with auxiliary capacitance lines, formed on the same layer as the scanning lines. Further, pixel electrodes connected to drain electrodes of the TFTs are formed on the same layer as signal lines connected to source electrodes of the TFTs. An insulating layer is provided between the layer forming the signal lines and pixel electrodes and the layer forming the drain and source electrodes. Since the insulating film is present between the signal lines and the scanning and auxiliary capacitance lines, influence on the auxiliary capacitance value can be reduced, as can a signal line capacitance value. As a result, even when the auxiliary capacitance value is increased, the signal line capacitance value remains small.

摘要： A sun-visor provided in a vehicle includes a sun-visor body, a shaft, and low strength region. The sun-visor body is used for blocking off the outside light. One end of the shaft is inserted into the sun-visor body and another end of the shaft is rotatably supported at the roof of the vehicle through a base. The low strength region of the shaft permits the sun-visor to be readily deformed by a side air bag deployed into the vehicle cabin, thereby achieving a certain inflation of the air bag irrespective of the position of the sun-visor.

摘要： An elastomeric butadiene copolymer prepared by a process which comprises copolymerizing butadiene, a polyvinyl aromatic compound and optionally styrene in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an organolithium polymerization initiator and subjecting the resulting copolymer having lithium at the polymer end or ends to a coupling reaction with a trifunctional or tetrafunctional coupling agent, said butadiene copolymer satisfying the following conditions: (a) the content of styrene is at most 50% by weight, (b) the content of vinyl bonds in the butadiene portion is from 10 to 90% by weight, (c) the molecular weight distribution curve obtained by a high performance liquid chromatography has at least three peaks, and 5 to 60% by weight of all the polymer chains have a molecular weight which is at least 5 times the molecular weight in terms of standard polystyrene corresponding to the peak appearing on the lowest molecular weight side of the high performance liquid chromatogram, and (d) the Mooney viscosity (ML.sub.1+4, 100.degree. C.) is from 30 to 200. The butadiene copolymer has an improved processability with excellent resilience, wet grip property, abrasion resistance and mechanical properties, and is suitable for tire use.

With the facsimile apparatus of the present invention, the user can freely store any form and contents of one or more sending data in the library memory by reading a document containing the sending data and depressing a specified button so that the stored data in the library memory is transmitted to the receiving facsimile with the inputted telephone number.
