    摘要: A display apparatus includes a switching element having a first gate electrode, a source and drain electrode, a channel area formed between the source and drain electrode, and a second gate electrode. The second gate electrode is electrically insulated from the first gate electrode through the channel area, and different control voltages are applied to the second gate electrode according to the control period of the first gate electrode. The different control voltages are applied to the second gate electrode according to the turn on/off states of the switching element for increasing the turn on current in the channel area and for minimizing the turn off (leakage) current in the channel area.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a display apparatus with pixels, wherein each pixel includes a switching device, a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS), and a gray scale control device. The switching device can be connected to a gate line and a data line to output a corresponding data signal in response to a gate signal. The MEMS may be connected to an output electrode of the switching device to transmit or block light in response to the corresponding data signal. The gray scale control device may be coupled to the output electrode of the switching device to control a time interval during which the corresponding data signal is applied to the MEMS. Accordingly, each pixel may display a desired gray scale.

    摘要: In an OELD panel capable of decreasing a cross-talk and an OELD apparatus having the OELD panel, a switching part is formed in a unit pixel defined by a data line and a scan line to control the output of a data signal in response to a scan signal. A current supply line is disposed on at least two sides of the unit pixel to transfer a current. The sides of the unit pixel are disposed adjacent to one another. An organic electro luminescent part generates a light in response to the current. A driving part is disposed between the organic electro luminescent part and the current supply line to control the current in response to the data signal outputted from the switching part. Therefore, the current supply line forms a net shape to decrease a cross-talk.

    摘要: In an OELD panel capable of decreasing a cross-talk and an OELD apparatus having the OELD panel, a switching part is formed in a unit pixel defined by a data line and a scan line to control the output of a data signal in response to a scan signal. A current supply line is disposed on at least two sides of the unit pixel to transfer a current. The sides of the unit pixel are disposed adjacent to one another.     摘要: A display substrate includes a lower base substrate, an organic insulation layer, an insulation protrusion, a pixel electrode and a lower alignment layer. The lower base substrate comprises a plurality of unit pixel areas, the plurality of unit pixel areas being divided into a plurality of sub-pixel areas arranged in a matrix pattern. An organic insulation layer is formed on the lower base substrate. An insulation protrusion is formed on the organic insulation layer corresponding to a boundary of sub-pixel areas. A pixel electrode is formed on the organic insulation layer and the insulation protrusion. In addition, the lower alignment layer is formed on the pixel electrode and irradiated with ultraviolet (UV) light to provide different alignment directions that correspond to the sub-pixel areas.

The first sub-pixel includes a first liquid crystal (“LC”) capacitor and a first thin film transistor (“TFT”). The second sub-pixel includes a second LC capacitor and a second TFT. The first and second TFTs respectively include a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The gate electrodes of the first and second TFTs are connected to the gate line, the source electrodes of the first and second TFTs are connected to the data line, and the coupling capacitor includes the sub-pixel electrode of the second sub-pixel and the drain electrode of the second TFT as two terminals.
