摘要: When ring components 4 of layers to assemble a laminated ring 3 are unloaded from a component storage facility 10, a computer 13 generates lamination combinatorial data representing a combination of ring components of layers. A target frequency distribution of circumferential length values of ring components 4 of each layer is established, and lamination combinatorial data including ring components of a class where an error of an actual inventory frequency with respect to a target frequency is large are selected in a layer where an error between the target frequency distribution and an actual inventory frequency distribution is maximum. Ring components 4 of all layers corresponding to the selected lamination combinatorial data are unloaded from the component storage facility 10. A distribution of size data of the ring components 4 of each layer in the component storage facility 10 is thus continuously maintained in a state capable of assembling more laminated rings 4, and the stable mass-productivity of laminated rings 3 is continuously achieved.

摘要: Reticles and reticle blanks are disclosed for performing charged-particle-beam (CPB) microlithography. The reticles typically include a rigid peripheral frame attached to a reticle portion. Such attachment can cause warping, and thus deformation, of the reticle portion. To reduce such warp, the reticle portion comprises an inner supporting part (surrounding a pattern-defining region) surrounded by an outer supporting part. Situated between the inner and outer supporting parts are multiple connecting structures. The connecting structures can have spring characteristics that collectively absorb warp. Alternatively, the connecting structures can include respective driving mechanisms. The driving mechanisms are especially adapted to cause, when electrically activated, local electrostatic attraction between a respective first conductive region (located on the outer supporting part) and a respective second conductive region (located on the inner supporting part). Selective energization of the connecting structures causes micro movement of inner supporting part (and thus the pattern-defining region) relative to the outer supporting part, thereby canceling reticle warp.

摘要: An internal combustion engine, including an air/fuel ratio sensor in an exhaust passage detecting an air/fuel ratio in a heated state, implements a technique improving emission at a starting time, by eliminating splash of water droplets early in the exhaust passage at the starting time to advance the heating starting timing of the air/fuel ratio sensor. At the starting time, opening/closing timing of a valve is advanced from a reference opening/closing timing or the reference of the opening/closing timing of the exhaust valve after the warming-up was ended, which continues until the wall temperature of the exhaust passage near the air/fuel ratio sensor becomes equal to or higher than a water droplet disappearing temperature, at which water droplets disappear. Then, change of the opening/closing timing of the exhaust valve responding to the running state by a variable valve mechanism is started.

摘要: In a construction for electrically connecting electrical unit with joint surfaces thereof opposed to each other, wiring patterns electrically connected with distortion gauges are formed on function-element forming surfaces of each electrical three-dimensional unit and are extended to edge portions formed between the function-element forming surfaces and adjacent wiring surfaces as the joint surfaces to form first lands; second lands extending from the edge portions by a specified distance are formed at positions of the wiring surfaces corresponding to the first lands; and electrical connectors displaying a joining performance upon being pressed together are formed to bridge the first and second lands while being held in close contact with the first and second lands. A plurality of three-dimensional electrical unit can be securely and easily electrically connected with each other with high precision.
