摘要: A user terminal A inquires of a user terminal B for the terminal function information. Upon receiving a request signal from the user terminal A via a communication control section, the user terminal B checks whether the user permits transmission of the terminal function information to the user terminal A, and then, transmits the terminal function information to the user terminal A. Upon receiving the terminal function information from the user terminal B, the user terminal A displays the terminal function information of the user terminal B in a display.

摘要: A light emitting unit emits a light in a light emitting direction, which is the direction to an object, the light having a distributed pattern in a predetermined direction. A photographing device obtains an image of the object along with a photographing direction. A holding mechanism holds the light emitting unit and the photographing apparatus in such a relation that (a) the photographing direction is not in a plane that includes both the light emitting direction and the predetermined direction of the distributed pattern, and (b) the photographing direction is not parallel to the light emitting direction. A distance deriving unit derives a distance between the object and a predetermined position based on the image obtained by the photographing device.

摘要: A hemispherical dielectric resonator is arranged on a metal substrate to make a flat surface of the hemispherical dielectric resonator contact with the metal substrate, and a dielectric wave-guiding channel is connected with a curved side surface of the hemispherical dielectric resonator. Therefore, a dielectric resonance antenna in which the hemispherical dielectric resonator and the dielectric wave-guiding channel are placed on the same metal substrate is obtained. A signal transmitting through the dielectric wave-guiding channel is fed in the hemispherical dielectric resonator, the hemispherical dielectric resonator is resonated, and an electromagnetic wave is radiated. Therefore, the dielectric resonance antenna functions as a wave radiation device.

摘要: An image processing portion for conducting the specified processing of an image to be reproduced by an image forming portion based on the processed image data is constructed as a single control portion. Consequently, the development of a variety of digital copying machines requires preparation of specially designated control boards according to levels of the products. This makes machines expensive and requires users to pay a considerable initial cost. An image processing device of the present invention is provided with an image information inputting means for inputting image information as a first level image, a main image-processing board for conducting the specified processing of the input image information of the first revel image, a sub image-processing board for conducting the specified processing of the image information processed by the main image processing board and outputting the information as a second level image, and a means for reproducing an image according to the image information processed by the main image-processing board or the sub image-processing board. These boards are independent from each other in the circuit configuration.

摘要: An image pattern of an object is inputted. An input subspace calculation section calculates an input subspace from the image pattern. A dictionary subspace calculation section calculates a dictionary subspace from a learning pattern of each object. A constraint subspace calculation means calculates a constraint subspace from a plurality of input subspaces previously calculated according to constraints to suppress unnecessary patterns. A projection section projects the input subspace and the dictionary subspace onto the constraint subspace. A recognition section recognizes the object by comparing the projected input subspace with the projected dictionary subspace.

摘要: A power system where energy generated at a deceleration time of a running vehicle such as an automobile can be accepted as regenerative energy sufficiently and safely is provided. In a power system 10, a non-aqueous solution system secondary battery group 1 where 10 to 11 lithium ion secondary battery cells are connected in series and an aqueous solution system secondary battery group 2 where 18 control valve type lead-acid battery cells are connected in series are connected in parallel. The battery capacity of the non-aqueous solution system secondary battery group 1 is smaller than that of the aqueous solution system secondary battery group 2. The non-aqueous solution system secondary battery group 1 and the aqueous solution system secondary battery group 2 are charged at a current value of 7C or less from a motor generator 3, and the ratio of the charged current value of the aqueous solution system secondary battery group 2 to the charged current value of the non-aqueous solution system secondary battery group 1 is 0.05 to 1.00.

摘要: A copy-back type cache memory device using a delayed wait method capable of completing a data-write process in one process cycle. The device includes single word memory means for storing the single word of the selected data in a data memory means when an access for a data-write is made, the single word being located at the address in the data memory means corresponding to the processor address; and copy-back memory means for restoring the superseded data along with other data together with which the superseded data forms a block, so that the block can be reorganized in its original state before the data-write process takes place. The device may alternatively include an address latch means for delaying transmission of a processor address from the processor to the data memory means by a predetermined number of process cycles when access by the processor is for a data-write process; and a data latch means for delaying transmission of a processor data from the processor to the data memory means by the predetermined number of process cycles when access by the processor is for a data-write process.
