摘要: A system and process for creating an interactive digital image, which allows a viewer to interact with a displayed image so as to change it with regard to a desired effect, such as exposure, focus or color, among others. An interactive image includes representative images which depict a scene with some image parameter varying between them. The interactive image also includes an index image, whose pixels each identify the representative image that exhibits the desired effect related to the varied image parameter at a corresponding pixel location. For example, a pixel of the index image might identify the representative image having a correspondingly-located pixel that depicts a portion of the scene at the sharpest focus. One primary form of interaction involves selecting a pixel of a displayed image whereupon the representative image identified in the index image at a corresponding pixel location is displayed in lieu of the currently displayed image.

摘要: The present invention involves a new system and method for probabilistic exemplar-based tracking of patterns or objects. Tracking is accomplished by first extracting a set of exemplars from training data. The exemplars are then clustered using conventional statistical techniques. Such clustering techniques include k-medoids clustering which is based on a distance function for determining the distance or similarity between the exemplars. A dimensionality for each exemplar cluster is then estimated and used for generating a probabilistic likelihood function for each exemplar cluster. Any of a number of conventional tracking algorithms is then used in combination with the exemplars and the probabilistic likelihood functions for tracking patterns or objects in a sequence of images, or in a space, or frequency domain.

摘要: The present invention includes in a system and method for estimating and tracking an orientation of a user's face by combining head tracking and face detection techniques. The orientation of the face, or facial pose, can be expressed in terms of pitch, roll and yaw of the user's head. Facial pose information can be used, for example, to ascertain in which direction the user is looking. In general, the facial pose estimation method obtains a position of the head and a position of the face and compares the two to obtain the facial pose. In particular, a camera is used to obtain an image containing a user's head. Any movement of the user's head is tracked and the head position is determined. A face then is detected on the head and the face position is determined. The head and face positions then are compared.

摘要: In relation to a circuit breaker, a left-side accessory switch storage section and a right-side accessory switch storage section are provided in a breaker case 1. A contact point of an ancillary switch 7 provided in one of the accessory switch storage sections is opened or closed in conjunction with an output protrusion 6a formed on an open-close lever 6 of an open-close mechanism section 3 on the main unit. A contact point of an alarm switch 9 provided in the remaining accessory switch storage section is opened or closed in conjunction with an alarm output plate 8 which operates in association with tripping action of the breaker. The output protrusion 6a is caused to oppose an operation lever 7a of an ancillary switch which is formed into a symmetrical bifurcated shape and which is provided in the accessory switch storage section. The alarm output plate constitutes a pivotal lever coupled to a toggle shaft 3a of the open-close mechanism section. An output protrusion 8a provided at the extremity of the pivotal lever is caused to oppose an operation lever 9a of the alarm switch provided in the accessory switch storage section.

摘要: A circuit breaker includes main circuit contact shoes disposed in a circuit breaker case and urged by a contact spring, a contact opening and closing mechanism located above the contact shoes and including an opening and closing lever, a toggle link, an opening and closing handle and a latch, and an overcurrent tripping device located above the contact shoes. The toggle link includes a first link extending between the opening and closing lever and a toggle shaft located above, and a second link extending between the toggle shaft and the latch to overlap the first link in the V-form, and an opening and closing spring extends between the toggle shaft and a tip of a handle lever coupled to the opening and closing handle to extend downward. As a result, a space occupied by the contact opening and closing mechanism section in the height direction can be reduced to make the circuit breaker more compact.

摘要: An insulated container of a circuit breaker is divided into three vertically-arranged portions including a case, a middle case, and a cover. A fixed contact shoe and a movable contact shoe are accommodated in the case. An opening and closing mechanism and an overcurrent trip device are accommodated in the middle case. A holder slidably passing through a hole in a bottom wall of the middle case by an operation of the opening and closing mechanism is moved linearly and perpendicularly to the bottom wall to open and close the movable contact shoe. A gap in the hole between the holder and the bottom wall is very small due to the straight movement of the holder, so that an arc gas generated in the case is completely shut down by the bottom wall and does not reach the opening and closing mechanism in the middle case during current interruption.

摘要: A circuit breaker includes a current path for first and second contacts connected in series in an insulative container. When an overcurrent occurs by over load, the second contact is opened based on a command from a time delay trip portion of an overcurrent trip device. When a short-circuit current occurs, the first and second contacts are opened based on a command from an instantaneous trip portion of the overcurrent trip device. Since the first and second contacts are contained in a common container, the wiring works between the first contact and the second contact is unnecessary. Since the first and second contacts are opened in the instantaneous trip, interruption of a high short-circuit current is facilitated.

摘要: Multi-user multi-input desktop workspaces and applications are described. In one aspect, a single computing device presents multiple workspaces on a desktop area. The desktop area is designed for multiple users to provide in parallel inputs. Each workspace is configured for use by a particular set of users. Responsive to user direction, user access restrictions to a particular workspace of the multiple workspaces is suspended to allow a new user to interface within context of a particular workspace.

摘要: Provided is a circuit breaker capable of minimizing a change in the structure of, for example, a case even when a material (thermal conductivity) forming a stud is changed.A stud (20) includes a base portion (21) that is provided in a case (2) and a protruding portion (22) that protrudes from the case (2). The cross-sectional area of the protruding portion (22) is more than that of the base portion (21). When the cross-sectional area of the protruding portion (22) is more than that of the base portion (21) in the stud (20), the thermal conductivity of the protruding portion (22) increases and it is possible to increase the thermal conductivity from the protruding portion (22) to an external conductor connected to the stud. In addition, since the surface area of the protruding portion (22) increases, the amount of heat dissipated from the protruding portion (22) increases. In this case, since the dimensions of the base portion (21) inserted into a stud insertion hole (2b) of the case (2) do not vary, it is not necessary to change the dimensions of the insertion hole (2b) of the case (2). Therefore, it is possible to minimize a change in the structure of a component even when the material forming the stud is changed.

摘要: A location history is a collection of locations over time for an object. A stay is a single instance of an object spending some time in one place, and a destination is any place where one or more objects have experienced a stay. Location histories are parsed using stays and destinations. In a described implementation, each location of a location history is recorded as a spatial position and a corresponding time at which the spatial position is acquired. Stays are extracted from a location history by analyzing locations thereof with regard to a temporal threshold and a spatial threshold. Specifically, two or more locations are considered a stay if they exceed a minimum stay duration and are within a maximum roaming distance. Each stay includes a location, a starting time, and an ending time. Destinations are produced from the extracted stays using a clustering operation and a predetermined scaling factor.
