摘要: An illumination device comprises a light source like a halogen lamp, a light guide, a round rod-shaped transparent radiation member having a proximal end and a distal end, and a transparent radiation plate. The light guide is a plastic optical fiber comprising a single core of silicon rubber and a cladding layer of tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer. The radiation member is a transparent circular cylinder made of acrylic resin, and has a predetermined pattern of light scattering regions on its surface oppose the directions where the light is radiated. The radiation plate is placed such a position that one side plane of the radiation plate oppose to he radiation member, and also has a predetermined pattern of light scattering regions on the back. The light scattering regions are provided along said radiation member in such a way that a ratio of an tea of one region to that of adjacent region becomes larger as the one region becomes distant from the proximal and of the radiation member.

摘要: To maintain an image eraser used for erasing a toner image printed on a sheet operable wastes power, and additionally, a manual operation is required for loading a sheet feed portion with sheets from which the printed image is removed for reuse. The main body of an image forming apparatus is provided with a tray for image erasure and a feed roller for feeding sheets from the tray. Disposed in a passage for transporting the sheets from the tray is an image eraser comprising a nozzle for applying a treatment for removal of toner, a toner removal roller and a pressure roller and the likes. By means of a transport roller, sheets are transferred from the image eraser to an intermediate tray or a registration roller for feeding sheets to an image forming position. The image eraser is actuated for image erasure while the image forming apparatus is not performing an image forming operation. The sheets from which the image is removed are received by the intermediate tray which, in turn, feeds the sheets for image forming operation if it is determined before execution of the operation that the sheets in the intermediate tray match with a sheet size specified for the operation.

摘要: A printing system comprises a printer and an information processor, which includes a control unit. The control unit generates a print data file, which includes a resource saving flag and mode information. This information represents either a printing mode or a document filing mode, in which the printer operates. The control unit determines whether one or more specified resource saving functions of the printer are selected for the print data file in a main setting window. If so, the control unit turns on the flag and outputs the print data file as a first print data file to the printer. If not, the control unit turns off the flag and outputs the print data file as a second print data file to the printer. If a user is specified for the second print data file, the control unit outputs the file to the printer, with the mode information representing the document filing mode.

摘要: The subject of the present invention is to provide a useful antibody for measuring ADAMTS13 activity, in particular, a monoclonal antibody and a method for measuring ADAMTS13 activity. Further, another subject of the present invention also is to provide a monoclonal antibody which has specific reactivity to an antigenic determinant site produced by reacting ADAMTS13 with VWF that is a substrate or a partial peptide of VWF that is a potential substrate, but has no specific reactivity to the complete VWF molecule, and a use of the antibody of interest. Those subjects were achieved by succeeding in obtaining a monoclonal antibody (anti-N-10 monoclonal antibody) which has specific reactivity to a cleavage site that is cleavable by ADAMTS13 in the partial peptide of VWF, and further by finding a method for measuring ADAMTS13 activity using the monoclonal antibody of interest.
