摘要: A fan type noxious insect control apparatus is disclosed which is desirably used carried on a user's body part and excels in noxious insect control performance. To this end, the apparatus is so configured that air is drawn through an inlet port (6) by driving of an axial flow fan (3) and passed through a chemical carrier (2) carrying a noxious insect control active ingredient to form the air containing such active ingredient, the air being run out through an outlet port (7) to diffuse the active ingredient into the ambient atmosphere and further that the inlet port (6) at an upstream of the fan (3) is open facing axially thereof, the outlet port (7) at a downstream of the fan (3) is open facing radially thereof, and there are provided an annular wall (8) surrounding the fan (3) and an air flow passage (9) communicating between a delivery section of the fan (3) and the outlet port (7) to convert air flowing out of the axial flow fan (3) axially thereof to air flowing radially thereof.

摘要: Transmission of excess segments to a network can be effectively inhibited. A received byte calculation section 14 calculates, at a sending side, the number of bytes of segments which arrive at a receiving side within a period of a minimum value of RTT measured by a minimum time measurement section 13, a target calculation section 15 calculates a target used for controlling segment transmission based on the number of bytes of the received segments calculated by the received byte calculation section 14, and a send segment control section 16 which controls segment transmission based on the target calculated by the target calculation section 15.

摘要: An electrostatic suction type fluid discharge method and device include a voltage applying means that applies a pulse voltage between a nozzle and a substrate, the nozzle having a diameter ranging from 0.01 μm to 25 μm, an upper limit voltage of the pulse voltage being equal to or greater than a discharge-inducing minimum voltage. A lower limit first voltage can be provided immediately before a rise of the pulse voltage, an absolute value of the lower limit first voltage being set smaller than the discharge-inducing minimum voltage. A lower limit second voltage can be provided immediately after a rise of the pulse voltage, an absolute value of the lower limit second voltage being set smaller than the discharge-inducing minimum voltage. With this structure, it is possible to simultaneously achieve miniaturization of nozzle, discharge of micro fluid droplet, high accuracy for discharge position, and decrease in drive voltage.
