    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for a network entity. The network entity receives an analytics request from a consumer, the analytics request indicating at least one analytic and determines one or more network data analytics functions (NWDAFs) for the analytics request based on the at least one analytic indicated in the analytics request. A consumer sends an analytics request to a network entity including one or more analytics identifiers. The consumer receives, from the network entity, a response to the analytics request including an analytics output from one or more NWDAFs based on the analytics identifier(s) included in the analytics request. An NWDAF sends an analytics identifier registration to a network entity indicating one or more analytics supported by the NWDAF. Then, the NWDAF receives an analytics request(s) from consumer(s) via the network entity based on the NWDAF supporting an analytic in the analytics request.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to systems and methods for configuring a voice domain preference and/or a radio access technology (RAT) preference for a user equipment (UE) in a radio access network (RAN) according to the capability and compatibility of the UE. The UE may send at least one of a requested voice domain preference or a requested RAT preference to a 5G core network (5GC). The UE may also receive, from the 5GC, at least one of a voice domain preference or a RAT preference based on, for example, the capability and compatibility of the UE. The 5GC may additionally generate a RAT/frequency selection priority (RFSP) index for the UE, giving priority to the voice domain preference and/or the RAT preference of the UE. The 5GC may communicate the RFSP index to the RAN. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access and mobility management function (AMF) associated with a first radio access network (RAN) may identify a user equipment (UE) connected to a source base station of the first RAN. The AMF may receive a handover message including a voice call continuity handover trigger message indicating a handover of the UE to a target base station associated with a second RAN. In some examples, the AMF may transmit a bypass handover message to a second network device based a on the received handover message. In some cases, the bypass handover message may include the voice call continuity handover trigger message. In some examples, the second network device is a mobility management entity (MME) associated with an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may coordinate and improve data flows between wireless communication networks based on messaging between a modem processor and an application processor. In a first example, the modem processor may control the splitting of traffic between a first wireless communication network (e.g., a cellular network) and a second wireless communication network (e.g., a Wi-Fi network). The modem processor may establish a multiple access session (e.g., a multiple access protocol data unit session) that includes a session for each wireless communication network, and route traffic (e.g., communications with a network entity) based on access traffic steering, switching, and splitting (ATSSS) rules. In a second example, the application processor may control the traffic splitting. The application processor may obtain the ATSSS rules from the modem processor, and route traffic accordingly.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for a user equipment (UE) to select a data connection based on which applications are active in a foreground process of an application processor. The UE may activate a dedicated data subscription (DDS) based on a list of active applications. In some aspects, the UE may programmatically initiate a DDS switch based on which applications are active. The UE may determine which data connection to activate as the DDS based on the application configuration information and which applications are active. Application configuration information may indicate preferences regarding different data connections to use for each application. The application configuration information may indicate a preferred radio access technology (RAT), a preferred communication network, a preferred subscription, or any combination thereof.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) modem stores a route selection policy (URSP), the URSP associating each of a plurality of data network name (DNN) identifiers and a corresponding slice, wherein a first DNN identifier (ID) is associated with a first DNN and a first slice and a second DNN ID is associated with the first DNN and a second slice different than the first slice. The modem establishes a first protocol data unit (PDU) session with the first DNN and the first slice in response to receiving a first indication to start a first network interface associated with the first DNN ID. The modem establishes a second PDU session with the first DNN and the second slice in response to receiving a second indication to start a second network interface associated with the second DNN ID.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for tracking network traffic for local area network (LAN) subnets in a wireless wide area network (WWAN). In some implementations, a UE of the WWAN may assign a unique public IP address to each router of the LAN. The UE may transmit network traffic received from the LAN to the WWAN. The network traffic originating from any router of the LAN may be associated with the unique public IP address that was assigned to that router. The WWAN may use the unique public IP addresses to generate network traffic information that may indicate amounts of network traffic flowing from each router of the LAN. The WWAN, for example, may use the network traffic information to determine billing information for any router in the LAN.
