    Abstract: A display device includes first pixels partitioned into a plurality of blocks, each of the plurality of blocks being categorized as a first block or a second block, a sensor configured to generate first sensing data for at least two of the first pixels in each of the plurality of blocks during a first period, and a sensing controller configured to generate interpolated data for the first pixels that are not sensed by the sensor by interpolating the first sensing data, for the first block, and configured to forgo interpolation of the first sensing data, for the second block. The sensor generates second sensing data for the first pixels that are not sensed by the sensor, for the second block, during a second period after the first period.

    Abstract: A display device and a method for driving the same are described. The display device includes a plurality of pixels, a driving characteristic compensator for sensing driving characteristics of the pixels, generating first power source voltage information according to a change in the driving characteristics, and updating an RGB gamma look up table, a memory for storing the first power source voltage information and the RGB gamma look-up table, a power source manager for generating a first power source voltage based on the first power source voltage information, and a gamma controller for generating reference gamma voltages by dividing the first power source voltage supplied from the power source manager based on the RGB gamma look-up table. Therefore, power consumption of the display device may be reduced.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display divided into a plurality of blocks including pixels, a timing controller for calculating a frame load for an image frame of input image data, and for generating image data by scaling grayscale values of the input image data using a scale factor, a data driver for generating a data signal corresponding to the image data, and for supplying the data signal to the pixels, a current sensor for sensing a global current flowing in a first power source line connected to the pixels, and a scale factor provider for correcting a unit target current determined using a reference block among the blocks based on a deviation in light emitting characteristics between the blocks, for calculating a target current using the frame load and a corrected unit target current, and for comparing the target current with the global current to calculate the scale factor.

    Abstract: A display device and a method of driving the same are provided.     Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a display panel driver, and a zone compensating circuit which divides the display panel into a plurality of unit blocks, obtains load values of input image data for the unit blocks, and generates corrected image data by correcting the input image data based on the load values. Each of the load values corresponds to one of the unit blocks. The display panel driver generates a data signal for displaying an image on the display panel based on the corrected image data. When grayscale values included in the input image data are the same, a luminance of the image displayed on the display panel is decreased moving away from a center of a reference block having a largest load value among the unit blocks based on the corrected image data.
