Abstract: A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a first substrate, a pixel electrode disposed on the first substrate, a first alignment layer disposed on the first substrate and the pixel electrode, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a common electrode disposed on the second substrate, a second alignment layer disposed on the second substrate and the common electrode, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, in which the common electrode has a first opening having a cross shape, an edge of the first opening protrudes beyond an edge of the pixel electrode, and the pixel electrode includes a second opening disposed adjacently to at least one of the edges of the pixel electrode.

Abstract: A display device may include a plurality of pixels each including a light emitting element. A first scan line and a second scan line are disposed in each of the pixels. A data line is disposed in each of the pixels. A power line is disposed in each of the pixels. A reference voltage line is disposed in each of the pixels. A first transistor controls a current of the light emitting element. A second transistor is connected between the data line and a first gate electrode of the first transistor. A third transistor is connected between the reference voltage line and a first electrode of the first transistor. A fourth transistor is connected between the power line and a second electrode of the first transistor. The fourth transistor may be a transistor of a type different from that of the first to third transistors.

Abstract: A light emitting display device includes a pixel circuit unit, a data distribution unit, a plurality of signal generating units, a unit light emitting diode, and a dummy opening. The pixel circuit unit is configured to generate an output current. The data distribution unit is configured to apply a data voltage to the pixel circuit unit through a data line. The plurality of signal generating units are respectively configured to apply a scan signal and a light emission control signal to the pixel circuit unit through a plurality of signal lines. The unit light emitting diode is configured to receive the output current of the pixel circuit unit and is attached to the pixel circuit unit. The dummy opening is formed in the region where the pixel circuit unit, the data distribution unit, and a plurality of signal generating units are not positioned.
