摘要： An envelope includes a first substrate having an image display surface, and a second substrate opposing the first substrate with a space therebetween. Electron sources for activating the image display surface are arranged on the second substrate at a predetermined pixel pitch in an X-direction and a Y-direction perpendicular to each other. Spacers are provided between the first and second substrates. The spacers are arranged at several times the pixel pitch in the X-direction, and arranged in the Y-direction at the same pitch as the pixel pitch at least in a part of the image display surface, those of the spacers arranged in the Y-direction being arranged in line with the electron sources and being located at both sides of each of the corresponding electron sources to make an electron emitted from each of the corresponding electron sources pass between each adjacent pair of those spacers.

摘要： An electronic apparatus comprising a control unit including at least a CPU, a RAM, and an I/O port; and a ROM for storing a control program executed by the CPU, further includes a power supply circuit for supplying power to each device thereof and a switching circuit for turning on/off the power supplied from the power supply circuit to the ROM, and transfers the control program stored in the ROM to the RAM according to power-off direction, lets a switching circuit turn off the power supply to devices other than the control unit after the transfer, and then lets the CPU execute the control program stored in the RAM while the power supply to the control unit is maintained, thereby executing processings for, for example, calibrating a head temperature sensor, lowering the clock frequency of the control unit or the like.

摘要： In a color cathode ray tube, a vacuum envelope is provided with a plurality of necks and a plurality of funnels for coupling the respective neck to a single panel. A plurality of electron gun assemblies are received in the neck, respectively and a plurality of deflection yokes are mounted around the funnels, respectively. A screen is formed on the inner surface of the faceplate of the panel and is defined by a plurality of continuous segment regions each of which is scanned with electron beams from the corresponding electron gun assembly and deflected by corresponding deflection yoke. A shadow mask is received in the panel and is faced to the screen. The shadow mask has a plurality of effective row and column regions corresponding to the segment regions and a noneffective region for surrounding and partitioning the respective segment regions.
