摘要: In an air conditioner, reverse inhalation is prevented while broad band noise and wind sound are reduced. A projection arranged at the leading end of a stabilizer on the downstream side of an air stream flowing along a surface of the stabilizer opposing an impeller and protrudes toward the impeller to define the shortest distance to the impeller. A plurality of grooves or projections are provided on the opposing surface on the upstream side of the projection to disturb the air stream flowing along the opposing surface. The positions of the grooves or the projections are arranged apart in a rotational axis direction. A plurality of convex portions are provided to disturb an air stream flowing along a surface of a casing opposing the impellers. The positions of the convex portions are arranged apart in the rotational axis direction of the impeller.

摘要: It is intended to provide a supersensitive, quick and accurate method for biochemical analysis. The method includes: adding magnetic fine particles into a solution containing a target substance, whereby a first substance for detection immobilized on the magnetic fine particle is bound to the target substance, while aggregating the magnetic fine particles so as to form an aggregate in the solution; next binding the target substance bound with the magnetic fine particle constituting the aggregate to a second substance for detection on a magnetic sensor layer so as to immobilize the aggregate onto the surface of the magnetic sensor layer; and measuring a magnetic stray field of this aggregate using a magnetic sensor.

摘要: An optical position of a display device with respect to an optical axis of a projection optical system is displaced in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis in accordance with a change in the size of a projected image. For instance, a transparent flat plate is disposed in front of a projection lens, and the transparent flat plate is tilted in association with a rotation of a zoom adjustment ring. As the transparent flat plate is tilted, the apparent position of the display device relative to the projection lens is displaced in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the projection optical system. Thereby, the projected image on a screen is located at a proper position corresponding to a zoom state. Tilt control of the transparent flat plate is realized by a cam mechanism, for instance.

摘要: A hold-type display apparatus is more likely to suffer the deterioration in the visibility of moving images due to the blur effect, compared to an impulse-type display apparatus. A single frame period is divided into a first period and a second period. Pixel data to be written to a pixel are written in a concentrated manner in the first period during a frame period. At this time, a write value for the pixel is set to twice a value of the image data in order not to lower the brightness of the images as a whole. However, only if the doubled value exceeds a range that can be displayed, the remaining pixel data are written in the second period. Thus, the change in display brightness approximates the impulse-type display apparatus, so that the visibility of moving images is improved.

摘要: A developing device and an image forming apparatus equipped with the developing device are provided to suppress the deterioration in picture quality of an image formed on a sheet due to toner-clump created in a developer vessel. The developing device includes a developing roller adapted to hold toner thereon while rotating and to supply the toner onto a photosensitive surface of a photosensitive body and a toner recovery vessel adapted to accommodate the developing roller therein with facing an opening portion thereof and to supply the toner to be held on the developing roller onto the developing roller while recovering residual toner remaining on the developing roller. The toner vessel including a protrusion portion protruded toward a roller surface of the developing roller. The protrusion portion is provided at an inner wall part which confronts the roller surface of the developing roller and where the residual toner begins to drop from the developing roller.

摘要: An ion wind generator (20) is arranged on one side of a light source (1). The ion wind generator (20) produces an air current by negatively ionizing air by corona discharges at a needle electrode (21), or negative side, and drawing the negatively-ionized air at a cylindrical electrode (22), or positive side. The air current blows toward the light source (1) and removes heat generated by the light source (1). An ultraviolet ray from the light source (1) is introduced to a vent of the ion wind generator (20) by a first dichroic mirror (4) and a ultraviolet ray reflection mirror (17). Though air exhausted from the vent includes ozone (o3) produced by corona discharges, the ozone is decomposed by the ultraviolet ray.

摘要: To provide a projection type video display capable of reliably preventing a double image from being produced. A first light flux producer for producing a first light flux and a second light flux producer for producing a second light flux are arranged on the light emission side of a lamp. The light flux producer comprises a condenser lens, a rod integrator, and a pair of lenses. Lights passing through the pair of lenses are respectively refracted by condenser lenses, and are respectively introduced into first and second areas of a liquid crystal display panel in such a manner as to cross an optical surface in a color separating and mixing sector.
