    摘要: A hold-type display apparatus is more likely to suffer the deterioration in the visibility of moving images due to the blur effect, compared to an impulse-type display apparatus. A single frame period is divided into a first period and a second period. Pixel data to be written to a pixel are written in a concentrated manner in the first period during a frame period. At this time, a write value for the pixel is set to twice a value of the image data in order not to lower the brightness of the images as a whole. However, only if the doubled value exceeds a range that can be displayed, the remaining pixel data are written in the second period. Thus, the change in display brightness approximates the impulse-type display apparatus, so that the visibility of moving images is improved.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus includes a recorder. A recorder records repeatedly-fetched object scene images as a moving image. An extractor extracts one portion of the object scene images recorded by the recorder, in parallel with the recording process of the recorder. An evacuator alternatively evacuates a predetermined number, which is an upper limit, of the object scene images extracted by the extractor. An allocator allocates the object scene images evacuated by the evacuator at a time point at which the recording process of the recorder is ended, to the moving image recorded by the recorder. A controller starts up the evacuator at a frequency that is decreased according to an increase in an amount of moving images recorded by the recorder.

A CPU detects a foreign object adhering to the optical lens by performing shooting under a plurality of shooting conditions in which the exposure value and the focus position are identical and aperture values are different from each other, and comparing a plurality of the image signals obtained from the imaging element during the shooting.
